I've been f2p for a while and only use 8 deck slots and gold out only cards in my decks. It'll be tight but three sets at least one of them will probably terrible. Might be a different set by opinion but it's hard to please everyone. If u play wild you could cherry pick cards standard would be tougher.
In Shadowverse p.e. you get Login Rewards all the time and also 3 Quests per day and Archivement Rewards, but you don't get gold for wins
The Rewards stack, depending on your login Streak, so the first 4 days you get 30 Gold, then a pack, the next 4 days you get 40 gold, then a pack and so on till reset
So if you compare it to Hearthstone, you could say they give out so much for free, BUT cards are also much more expensive to craft, p.e. you get 1000 "vials" (dust) per Legendary, but you need 3500 to craft one and in most cases you need 3 of them
Long Story short, we will see how it turns out, I mean at the moment we should not complain because at least Blizzard is doing something for the low money player base. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. At least not yet.

Well, in Hearthstone, you receive 400 dust per extra legendary, and the cost of crafting one is 1600, which means you need 4. I don't see how that's too much different.

What he's saying is that in Shadowverse you can put up to three copies of a legendary in a deck.
Very little rewards for a very limited time. If you consider things like Shadowverse that givest f2p and new players something like 40+ free packs this is really nothing.

He meant that to craft a legendary you need 3.5 legendaries in shadowverse or 1 golden and one normal.
I thoughts the reward would be different.. would be better if they were smaller but in a longer time span they are good but I expected something like the shadowverse system...

Blizzard/Hearthstone doesn't need to compete with games like Shadowverse because they are on another level in terms of money and popularity. Hearthstone already has a large community of players that are willing to spend $100+ each expansion, so it's obvious that they aren't going to start giving freebies to players.
Ya but you dont really need a complete collection just enough to build 2-3 competitive decks and as F2P if you play regularly and plan your spending you'll always have enough to be competitive.
I think the presumption is that F2P should be able to have everything just be playing and that's simply not true in any game that has a decent business model.
As F2P the absolute baseline potential is 90g/day or 32,850/year or 328 packs over 3 expansions if you're putting in the time, That doesn't include bonuses on releases or freebies or being a 7+ win arena player netting positive gold or 50, 60, 80, 100g daily quests.
I think the potential is there but as F2P what you don't pay for with money you pay for with time. and the irony is the players who put the most time in are also the ones mostly likely to drop real money and double down.

Which shortsighted mentality is the reason why they're bleeding players both old and new.
How people are entitled. Blizzard could not have granted these little bonusses for just logging in, but they did it anyway. And now, people are entitled enough to say it's not enough. In my opinion, it's even more than I expected with 3 packs, 100 arcane dust and 450 gold.
I have one thought on this subject highlighted by three points and a rant:
1. This is something that people have wanted for a long time, Blizzard increases the cost of the game if you wish to collect ALL cards. People proceed to whine about it.
Patentedly false, nobody wanted the game to be even more difficult at acquiring the cards. Hence the whine.
2. More cards is something that a majority of people have asked for since the release of the game thus' the first adventure and expansion was released. Now we get even more content. People proceed to whine about it.
Correct
3. The notion that a developer wants folks to pay them for their work is 110% accepted in EVERY BUISNESS ANYWHERE... but make it Blizzard and a game and... guess what? People proceed to whine about it.
Shortsighted ignorance. Business model != milking your customers. You don't have to act like a vampire to make money off your game and fidelization and first-time player enjoyment is something competent developers know to be really important. If you keep milking the cow without controlling yourself then it's eventually gonna die.
This is a good change and one that wasn't needed. Blizzard made it anyway because its good for the game and buisness. But frankly, so many people whine (note: not 'complain', not 'critique', not 'offer feedback') about this entire thing that I think the most proper thing Blizzard could do is essentially make a ban on social media outlets that they don't control and censor folks.[/quote]
People complain because in true Team5's vibe it's "too little too late" compared to other ccg with similar business models.
You can farm 100 gold per day easly without much effort. Thats 365 packs per year.
You get 1 pack from brawl every weak. Thats 52 packs per year.
You can get ~10 packs for free for Spectate game quest per year.
You usually get ~6-10 packs for free when new expansion launches. With 3 expansions its ~20 free packs.
For the total of ~450 packs per year. Which gives us 150 pack per expansion. I think its enough for f2p players.
Sure it can be rough when you start from 0, but when you already have a decent classic collection things are not so tough. You just need to think twice before crafting some cards so you dont regret it in the future.
Hahahahaha! If you're factoring in an average of 50 gold per day from quests, that means the other 50 must be made up for by 10 gold per 3 play mode wins. That means you are saying that 15 play mode wins per day is 'without much effort'! That's pretty much an insane titanic effort! You're talking about playing at least 20 games of Hearthstone PER DAY! If you figure an average of 8 minutes per game, then you're spending upwards of two-and-a -half hours per day playing a card game!
I love Hearthstone, but this is an insane waste of a person's life. In 2.6 hours, I can make enough money to buy a hundred packs. So I'd rather work 2.6 hours, take the money, buy 100x more packs, and then go do something else far more productive and enjoyable with my time than grinding 10 gold per 3 wins.

100 gold a day easy? In what universe. That's 60 games with a 50% win rate a day, even if you play super fast decks like Pirates you will still have to play for 5 hours a day, making this more grindy than a Chinese MMORPG.
My thought are that some people haven't learned the lesson that the world doesn't owe you anything and dosen't care about you. No worries though, you find out soon enough.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
The rewards aren't about helping the players, it's about stemming the flow of people leaving the game and doing damage control. If it were it wouldn't be a limited time.
And really, why would Blizzard bother when there are legions of fanboys who enjoy the wallet rape? Who would refuse free money gladly given? Blizzard might be pretty stupid about the game sometimes but that's just a silly game. They would never make a mistake like that about money.
I personally think that this won't be enough considering there will be 3 Expansions.
Its already hard enough as an F2P player to keep up with 1 Exp./Adven. and getting the high tier legendaries within each respectable release.
Any thoughts?

When do the daily rewards start? And it lasts only 7 days correct?

TL;DR: Better than nothing.
Where shall I start...
