Like you pay idk 10-15$ a month and you have all the cards in the game and can play them in "test mode" or against friends.( ONLY TEST ZONE NOT THE ACTUAL LADDER)
Essentially it would have 0 affect on casual or ranked/wild, it would be only so you could try things before you buy them or get another kind of experience in hearthstone.
yeah yeah i know people don't like subscription based things(pay to win herp derp derp), but i'd totally shell out 10-15 dollars to get a chance to try things without DEing all of my legendaries. And who knows, the New player base might find that more attractive than ranked so instead of paying 0 dollars after getting fed up with losing on ladder, they pay 10-15 dollars to play super casual and try out really weird decks or play in a less pressured environment that isn't people literally playing senjin shield master in 2017.
and for sanities sake, you can not do any quests in the test zone except the 80 challenge a friend one
I agree, a test mode would be great but only for free. And to compensate that, there won't be any awards for playing the test mode. You can't earn gold and you can't complete quests. But, If we pay for a subscription, then it would be a completely different game model, not f2p.
Blizzard should give us the chance to craft legendaries and give us expiry date so we can disenchant them for full price for like 2 or 3 days, just to check if the card we crafted we like it or not. I so wanna craft Varian wrynn and few other legends just to check them out.
I think 2 days for full dust disenchant is alright.

why wouldn't it be f2p, even if you didn't pay for test zone mode you'd be able to play Arena, TB casual and ladder, that's pretty much f2p, test mode would just be an option for Paying users

Basically its like saying
5 packs vs ultimated fun
Competitive people (see league of legends) can get all the cards (see league of legends get all champs) and be competitive
Non competitive people can buy a subscription and get to play a more realistic version of what casual should be, an experimental play ground. And once you feel you've really got an idea of how the deck would work or if it works, you can BUY PACKS( blizzard you dumb shits this is such a good money grab) in order to fund the decks you want to build for competitive once you feel you'd be successful with X decks

Yeah but, think of World of Warcraft... Would it be fair, if you pay for the subscription, and then also grind for the gold? If you pay for a subscription, then you should have everything available, that's how I think it should be. Anyway, a test mode with the full collection sounds great, free or not :)
It's an interesting idea. I've thought about it myself before and it could be a lot of fun because then you could theorycraft a lot easier. I think, though, what I'd prefer to see is a PTR environment where Blizzard introduces nerfs/balance changes and then allows players to test them out. Not new cards but new balance changes, and then if all goes well they are incorporated into the main game. This is much like Diablo 3 where new patches are on their PTR test server first, and then after the testing is completed and they've received enough feedback, they make some tweaks and make it official.

An area to casually test decks in a casual sort of manner, with no effect on ranks or positions, where you are only playing casually...
Hmm... it just might work! Now, what to call it... what to call it... hmmmmm....!
I agree, but free mode.
