I'm fed up with standard. Fighting the same five decks every time I queue up is incredibly boring, not to mention I have a lot of nostalgia towards the old meta and it's cards. The "cancer" decks of the old days like combo druid and secret paladin don't seem so bad anymore and actually sound like a blast to fight compared to this schmuck.
Anywho I am one of the dunces who disenchanted all of the cards that were cycling out, as a matter of fact because I needed dust ages ago I even dusted all of blackrock mountain. Stupid I know
I have a lot of the core wild cards now (I crafted them) but I want to know what other cards I should be crafting so if you could let me know what you think I should craft that would be great!
combo druid doesnt exist anymore, meta is same as in standard.Legion of pirate's wll crush your deck, but thats not all.. aggro is even faster and can outplay you uisng Ship's Cannon.If you wanna play some control there is surprise for you! RENO RENO AND MORE REENO sure there is a n'zoth warrior and priest but they are so rare that you will see maybe few of them. Sometimes i see decks without wild cards on ranks 8+.You have some nice anti-aggro options such as explosive sheep and deathlord but i dont think that it will stop that pirate fiesta.
As someone who never really played Standard, and stuck to Wild since they became separate things, I think first you need to decide what you are looking for. Do you want to win and rank up or have fun with all the possibilities Wild offers?
If the former, you should talk to someone else, but if the latter, then I might be able to help.
1- Reno decks can be a lot better in Wild, simply because you no longer have to use bad cards in your decks. With the standard decks + Wild only sets of Naxx and GvG you can make really cool decks.
2- Naxxramas -> N'Zoth decks. The possibilities are tremendous especially for Rogue and Shaman.
3- Malygos combo decks. Miracle Malygos Rogue/Shaman are actually quite fun in the slower, less serious meta of Wild. Get card draw, heals and taunts, and you can get some really sweet OTK with Barnes, Thaurissan, Ancestor's Call, Preperation and the like.
4- Mechs. Personally, not a big fan of them, but Wild is the only place where they can happen.
5- Better Control overall. With Sludge Belcher, Annoy-o-tron, ancient Healbot and the like, Aggro has no chance in Wild. If you are having problems against Pirate Warrior/ Aggro Shaman, something is going very wrong.
well the cancer deck in wild atm is ....guess what? pirate Warrior ever since tempo sorm started doing a wild meta snapshot people starting copying those t1 decks and now hearthstone isn't free from the opression of uncreative boring people :(.

Control rogue is my fav in wild atm. In standard it has no chance of working due to the lack of heals, but in wild it's legit. You run the double deathlord and belcher plus sylvanas and N'zoth package. Add to that healbots and the new 1 mana 2/2 heal 4, two coldlight oracles and a barnes plus 2 shadowsteps and you got the base of it. The rest you can fill in. I'm having good results with it against both reno and pirate.
Mad Scientist isn't a must have unless you're playing mage

Fixed Sludge Belcher. Imp-losion sees marginal play in Renolock, while Zoolock isn't played in the current meta. I haven't seen the rest of those cards since MSG came out. Mech Mage was outclassed by Tempo Mage long ago,

Unlicensed Apothecary costs 3 not 5, so it can't come out of Firelands Portal.
Just craft Naxxramas, it's nice to have collection. :D

Play wild, don't listen to these people. The old cards are quite strong, especially for N'Zoth lists.
