Constant disconnects, having to tap on your hand to see or play your cards and having to do that ends up makes you play cards when you meant to hit your hero power, terrible animation.
I rarely do. It's really unpractical, especially if you're planning on playing a control deck, it gets a lot harder to visualize your cards and therefore design strategies accordingly to the game state.
But at least it's an option, I have had situations when that mobile client saved me from infinite boredom.
Edit: I do however play A LOT on the Ipad. It just feels better to be able to play on my bed.
I play during school and mobile works perfectly well for me, although I pretty much only play arena in school which imo is a lot easier to play/plan out than constructed. I def wouldn't play a harder deck like Renolock in school.
I only play on my Mobile and am a very avid player. I think it works really smoothly, and can't think about a misclick that happend due to a small screen?
I think Blizzard did a really good job on the mobile version of this game!

Same here and agree. I only play on Mobile and use control warrior as my main ladder deck and never have issues outside the random DC but that could happen on PC also. I also agree that Blizz did a great job with the it. All the needed content is there, only things missing are minor like flavor text or seeing your opponents rank during a match
I play in all the possible platforms (desktop, tablet and phone) and both tablet and phone version feel almost like i'm playing in desktop one. Only problem i really see is the one you mentioned, the fact that you have to tap to actually view your cards and that can originate missplays with the herop. That's only a matter of space, maybe your mobile screen is not big enough or you have slightly thick fingers (like me!). I personally see the aplication on portable devices such as phone very well implemented and optimized, seeing how difficult is to do these days (or seems to do). I still remember the time when there was no app, and i was waiting to arrive home and play some hearthstone! As people already said above, better what we have than nothing
I am and always have been a mobile player on an iPad. I have absolutely no issue with the interface and have never had a misplay due to it. I'm less than 200 total wins from having all 9 golden portraits so I'd say I have a decent sample size to pull from.
I have played a couple times on a desktop and really felt tethered and saw no advantage over the mobile interface at all.
Its the only way i play, and i have no problem with it at all on my note 5. I need to try the desktop version tho to see what i am missing with the gameplay.
My guess is that you're playing mobile on an android device (which is far inferior to iPhone). I have absolutely no problems with the mobile versio, it works excellent.
Sure you'll always get better performance and a bigger field of view from a PC, but Hearthstone delivers a phenomenal mobile experience. Obviously one needs access to consistent decent cell/wifi/data signal strength, but I love being able to play the game on my daily commute and truth be told I think that Hearthstone really shines in this mode. Thank you Blizzard!
It plays ok on a iPod Touch 6th gen, screen is tiny. But need to be close enough to wifi source, never misplayed a card, but many times misplaced a card on board.
Not bad, but I prefer a PC, less risk of inaccurate placing cards on board, and, above all, I started using a tracker. Until Blizzard releases an API to extract our hand history and replays, will never go back on mobile for that only reason. I want my stats accurate.
I play exclusively on mobile, so it's really all I know. It doesn't feel weird if it's the only way you've ever played the game. I have tried the desktop version, and honestly, THAT feels strange and foreign to me. I'm much more comfortable playing on a touch screen than I am with a mouse.
I play on my laptop, used to play on my desktop and on my ipad air 2 and iphone 7 plus. Desktop/laptop is better because of the deck tracker but really that's it. It works perfectly for me on my ipad and iphone and I NEVER get any disconnects. I think I've grabbed the wrong card twice when I was playing hurriedly on my iphone but not on the bigger screens ipad.
I love it because I can play during my breaks and lunch and usually finish my daily during those times and not even feel like I have to play in the evening when I get home from work.
I used to play on PC, but have now exclusively switched to my phone. I have not experienced disconnects, and I have to disagree about the poor UI - once you know your cards, it's good enough.
As for the animations, well I personally don't care much about them. The game might as well be stick figures.
And to echo some others, once you get used to using touch screens, playing with a mouse feels weird.

It's my only available platform and I commute for hours a day. It may not be as good as on desktop, but it's better than not playing.

I have no problems playing on a tablet. But on a phone, I only play Casual. Why? The risk of a phone call.

And happy feast of winterveil to you all!

Because they are bad-ass bitches.
eta I only play on it occasionally, but still.

The servers are all the same so if you're getting 'constant disconnects' its on your end.
I play Hearthstone only on Phone, on computer I play other games!
