Meh, Hunter can pound sand for a few months. It has been relevant for long enough. If we have to have a weak class and it's too early to go back to that being shaman, Hunter is the next best thing to be weak.
Hunter should have a good weapon, it has been a long time since glaivezooka.. It is still in a better situation than rogue regarding weapons, but for a weapon class it is kind of a joke to have only one early option on the meta..
I find this weird because secret hunter and midrange are both still very capable on ladder with no MSG cards since release. I personally dont see this class as bottom of the barrel. I think players just want something new and hunter didnt get much new thats viable just the same old stuff from previous expansions.
Paladin is pretty bad also at this point. People are praising the new meta, but that 2 classes are extinct is pretty bad.
All-minions Paladin Goons decks seem pretty damn good. Good card draw, decent sustain... Difficult to win against Pirate Warrior, but the value you get is pretty nuts.
Also, secret hunter lists are worse than Rogue right now? I was under the impression Rogue didn't have a single deck that didn't roll over and die to Pirate Warrior.

I figure it's Paladin if anyone. They sit on their hands and hope that their legendaries or hand buffs can win them the game. That is not something this meta caters to.
Hunter's pretty good, but this expansion didn't cater to pirate-less aggro either. Players now have to make do with either midrange, tempo or some kind of secret deck. Also the one-drop spell they got is garbage and the new secret isn't phenomenal.

Not even a mention of handbuff paladin? Weird. But thanks for the data. Surprised to see Miracle Rogue so good at the moment, it always seemed kinda weak to aggro.
Wait another roughly 2 weeks. We will see counter meta after counter meta until it stabilizes for good. If there are still no hunter decks in the end you may be right but I still doubt it. Pirate warrior is allready a bit less common than it was before + hunter is naturally strong against warlock. A right timed freezing trap, a highmane after highmane, strong early game etc is just amazingly strong against Renolock.
After reading this thread I will probably try building a meta hunter :P. I know most people allways hated them, but midrange hunter was allways on of the more difficult midrange (yeah still easy but more difficult than most other midrange decks) because of their bad cad draw (card management) and their traps.

Who can take your trash out? Stomp it down for you? Shake the plastic bag and do the twisty thingy, too?
Hunter had its time in the sun with CotW. Paladin, on the other hand, has been crap since Secret Paladin moved over to Wild 9 months ago. Now that Priest is great again, I think Pallies deserve some love, and I don't mean more crappy murlocs.
I love how self described hunter players always have completely contradictory views of what hunter is good at and what it struggles with. Good against aggro? Struggles against aggro? Could you guys flipflop anymore as a community?

Aggressive hunter builds have traditionally been exceptional against aggro, but trogg + totem golem + ferals changed that. Mid-range hunter has typically been good against classic control, but weak to aggro.
So you're left with a class that is good against nothing that defines the meta.
And sure, there are other ways to go... but the remaining class cards are geared towards control, you have a hero power that generates very little value and no draw engine. The MSOG cards are largely a joke... alley-cat is good in a vacuum, but pathetic compared to the other T1 crap Blizz released.
Basically, hunter is SOL untill the next expansion. I'll spend my hunter quests trolling aggro decks in wild.
Face deck out facing the face class. Amazing class identity blizzard. You know they know what they are doing when the class with a armor gain hero power is better at aggro than the class with a deal 2 damage to face hero power. FailFish At least blade flurry is nerfed.

Yeah, a toast!
It's Hunter's turn to enjoy the bottom seat under the other classes.
Shaman, Priest, Paladin, Rogue already had this flavor.
Hunter's always been a good class since Beta. Being weak for 3-4 months is fine, it's not hard to make this class strong again.

I guess hunter is the bad class now, all other seven classes can beat hunter. Kappa
Don't know who else is faster than me lol completed 13:35 est, 12/8
I see it

Paladin is dead too, i have seen maybe two on ladder since the release of the expansion, i play around rank 15-10.

Ive been playing buffadin since start of MSG. Not tier 1 deck but its definately the most enjoyable deck ive ever played.
Btw fcuk hunters. I never enjoyed the class. Too one sided - just go face and win which is only confimred by retarded hero power.

Yeah, let´s all remember when MSOG got out and hunter started tier 4. I think midrange hunter will see play a few weeks after the meta settles.
f2p, playing for fun ^^
