Patches the Pirate Charge replaced with Battlecry: Gain Charge. Now players must decide: want a free charge or a free body?
Weapon upgrades: Durability or Damage, NEVER, EVER both.
Face decks are unhealthy to the game. Not fun to play with or against, even not fun to beat: don't see how fun it is to survive an early rush and spend next few turns squashing flies on board and watching opponent burn the rope because you stopped his mindless blitzkrieg. Yes, that's how face "players" behave.
This is coming from a jade c'thun druid player, a renolock player, a reno priest player, and a miracle rogue player....
Stonetusk Boar Wants his name back. L2 balance lol. not annihilate a card.
Fiery War axe is a control tool, and the last thing this game needs is less effective control tools.
A Fiery War Axe at 3 Mana will still be played in Control Warrior.
And 1 mana minions that don't have disproportionately good stats are literally useless, because they are all dead draws past turn 2 for every deck ever.

The difference between turn 2 and turn3 is immense. Fiery War Axe is not a problem.

1mana minions should have their value come from small battlecries and sinergy effects, not bloated stats. This kind of reasoning is exactly why HS has been such a joke competitively. As Kripparian says they just have to stop the fuck up printing insane overstatted 1mana card.
It's quite amazing how even after two metas of Tunnel Trogg and 1mana 3/3 weapons they still haven't learnt a thing.
Patches the Pirate is the obvious offender, they knew it was broken in TGT and waited until the Standard rotation to release it, which means they don't care about Wild balance at all and decided to put Standard at risk regardless. Otherwise Smalltime Bucaneer is just a less consistent Cogmaster, which is par for the format's neutral one drops. It'll be interesting to see what nerfs happen, I think Upgrade! could be nerfed on the same basis as Rockbiter Weapon or Blizzard could finally deal with Fiery Waraxe.
At least people have stopped deluding themselves about how "easy" it is to beat Pirate Aggro now that it's stormed thru' the tournament scene and proven tech doesn't really do anything to discourage it.

The only 1 mana minions that are any good beyond turn 2 are Swashburglar and Babbling Book. And only because they're more like a 1 mana draw 1 spell than a minion. 1 drops have to be broken to be playable, otherwise they're just too easily invalidated and just weigh down the deck.
Why nerf they? they are good, not broken.. People cannot see any good card that already call for a nerf? Only bad cards are allowed in the game?
Pirate warrior has only 1 card rotating it will likely need to see nerfs to be balanced in the upcoming post rotation meta
What do you mean by need nerfs to be balanced? Isn't it balanced now? We have some good aggro decks right now, but they are far from being OP as people try to say they are..
Ive been playing this deck and none of my games vs pirate warrior have even been close. Unlike midrange Shaman, you can tech to beat this deck easily and effectively
What's wrong with them? I'm not pirate warrior player but hey, if you don't like these cards that doesn't mean they need nerf. There are many other cards I don't like but it's a game, some cards always be better than others. Hearthstone can't consist of 1/1 no charge no special effects cards only.
Something will have to give; I'm guessing the Buccaneer. Just don't lose Patches' animation when played; it rocks.
Make Fiery War Axe balanced. Problem solves itself.

The Might of Dalaran has Arrived!
Small-Time Buccaneer is the op card, not patches.

Neither, don't fix what's not broken.

Yeah, a toast!
1 mana 1-1 how u change? 0-1, 1-0? No possible. Change to 2 mana or remove card text will auto move the card to trash tier.
1-2 conditional 3-2. How u Nerf? Become 1-1? Nobody will play. 1-1 so easy remove. And without weapon just trash 1-1.
Yeah. Nerf patches, small-bucc. But first nerf claws, trogg, wyrm, winaxe.
These all fall in the supposed overstated low-mana drops. Winaxe included (a Control tool? Really? Pirate Warrior is Control then?).
Pirate nerfers are too eagerly looking at the tip of the iceberg...

Yes it is.

Easy Nerf to Patches would be 'if your deck has no duplicates' ;)
Yeah, a toast!
