After watching Amaz's Tourney and now Seat it is very obvious that Aggro Warrior and Aggro Shaman are stupidly overpowered even in the tournament format.
So it is also clear something has to be done about it.
What do you think will get the nerf bat the little 3/2 Pirate cancerous asshole or the one/one charge piece of garbage.
Better question. Will Blizzard stop making braindead trash decks the best in the game or will we all just find another game to play?
Well in my experience so far, unless renolock or priest get a perfect opening hand, they are dead on the board against cancer pirates. If you look at past nerfs, you will see that any one card they nerfed wasnt that great by itself, but the combination of say doomhammer and rockbiter was a bit to easy to pull off.. warsong commander wasnt powerful by itself, but with the insaneness that was combo'd with it, it was broken.. etc.. they dont need to nerf both, just one of them and it wont KILL pirate warrior, it will just make it fall in line as far as competition goes. That is just my opinion though.
I'd bet for the Mini-Bucc. It's overpowerd as hell. Patches it's not a bad card, but not enough strong to be nerfed. It pains me, but i think the new priest dragon will be nerfed too. And Jade Idol.
The only card on this list in my opinion that could possibly have any chance (and I'm talking single digit percentage points chance) of being nerfed is going to be the 1/2 Pirate simply because it's everywhere. Even then, Pirates are the new Mechs basically so saying it's unlikely to happen is quite the understatement.
Basically unless the vS data currently spikes tremendously in one way or another, we've actually got a lot of diversity in regards to strong decks (both Pirate and non-Pirate), and there's more to come I imagine. We also still have all of the old lists that were able to keep Aggro Shaman and Pirate Warrior in the depths of Tier 3, so there are always those we can go back to using.

Articles I suggest every player reads to improve at the game;
Neither, Blizzard will just nerf winaxe, berserker, korkron elite for warrior. Shamans will get a flametongue and hex nerf. Pirates aren't OP outside those two classes anyway.
None and even if it did it took them 6+ months to nerf Yogg so it would be ages before anything is done IF it is and I don't really see that happening.
Patches the Pirate Charge replaced with Battlecry: Gain Charge. Now players must decide: want a free charge or a free body?
Weapon upgrades: Durability or Damage, NEVER, EVER both.
Face decks are unhealthy to the game. Not fun to play with or against, even not fun to beat: don't see how fun it is to survive an early rush and spend next few turns squashing flies on board and watching opponent burn the rope because you stopped his mindless blitzkrieg. Yes, that's how face "players" behave.
I think it is fairly clear that buccaneer should only have one health. The norm for neutral aggressive minions with high dmg potential is to die from 1 ping.
I don't think any further adjustment is needed. Pirate warrior isn't that good and aggro shaman's strength is very much in the complete strength of its cards.
Patches is the only broken card here. The only class that can gurantee a weapon on 2 is rogue. You guys seriously think A situational 1 mana 3/2 is going to be nerfed after tunnel trogg saw no changes, nor mana wyrm? Patches makes small time buccaneer seem more broken than he is. In reality, patches is the guy allowing trades in the early game that shouldnt be possible. Why not make it so when patches is drawn he is automatically put into play and you draw your next card? Or maybe have 3 pirates on the board before he comes out. Both of those suggestions are reasonable and keep his flavor without allowing him to cheat early game trades where the board state is most fragile. Imagine a flame juggler that you can control the target of. Now imagine that flame juggler comes out on turn 1. That is patches the pirate.
Hopefully both. Patches should not have charge. A free 1/1 since turn1 with included card draw and deck thinning is already legendary as it is. Bucaneer should be 2/2 at most, or 3/2 but if you attack with it you deplete a weapon charge as well.
I don't know what the fuck was Team5 thinking when printing 1mana cards like these.

They struggle so much with balance for aggressive decks. They finally do some interesting things with Hunter and aggro Paladin, but they're just bad. Try as they might to push Beast Druid, it was barely a thing when it finally did hit the radar for a couple months. There have been periods where Zoo was mildly interesting and tricky to play, but others where it was stupidly overpowered and you could watch someone misplay almost every turn yet still win the game. Instead, you're left with old Face Hunter, which became a meme in how stupidly easy it was to play, Pirate Warrior, and Aggro Shaman which is the same thing but with first grade subtraction added to deal with overload. It's just been a running theme that whenever an aggressive deck is overly simplistic it's also overpowered, and when there are obvious design intentions for aggressive builds that are more interesting and complex they ultimately fail to be effective.
Since scrubs can't even remember to attack with Patches on the first turn, they probably just remove charge. Dumbing the game down AND an insufficient nerf in one go!
Well given that they waited 2 expansions to release Patches it is unlikely they accept they made a mistake and then proceed to nerf him. To cut down a bit on the aggression I could see Small-Time Bucaneer being changed to a 1 mana 1/2 with text "Battlecry: If you have a weapon equipped, gain +2 Attack". However, I think it may take about a month before anything is done to give people time to figure out something on their own.
Edit: Not saying this will happen for sure since Blizzard hasn't fixed problems with worse offenders before (*cough* ... Midrange Shaman ... *cough*), but given the fact that any weapon class can use them they might introduce slight nerfs to encourage diversity and creativity.
So what are people's actual nerf ideas for these cards? I mean, there's no point in putting up a salt thread about a certain card if you can't come up with a good enough idea on how to fix it.
I don't know if I'd embrace a nerfing on either one just yet. To me personally, it hasn't really been a problem. I'm not losing any abnormal % of games against it as a posed to anything else that's been top tier. I think it's also good to have strong aggro in the meta so that these obnoxious jade decks don't get away with a free pass, we really need something to keep those decks honest. Take Jade Druid for instance, it's way too greedy and it would be ruling the meta if it weren't for pirate decks breaking them down.
Back to Mini Bucc and Patches, lower your deck curve and run some more defensive cards and should be able to handle a pirate opener with any class (except Hunter (which is just FUCKED right now against aggro, mid and late game decks!)

So, are you countering those decks? Or are you playing the same ones you've always liked to play, and now salty that these decks counter yours? Because if so, they don't need a nerf, you need to adapt.

They will nerf it, it's a 100% guarantee.
The only question is: How long.
It should already have been done, but they are a very dumb bunch of individuals. So we'll see.

Neither pirate warrior would crush you without those cards the deck just wasn't that popular before this expansion but the deck has always be OP, I
