For the past couple months I have been quite busy with school and such, and consequently I have fallen behind in terms of collecting cards and gold for the new expansion.
While I am fully aware that the only option to stay competitive is to just keep grinding, play arena and collect more gold to get the new cards, I began toying with the idea of a deck that won't suffer AT ALL from a standard rotation. A deck that will forever be relevant.
In other words, a somewhat competitive deck, that only uses cards from the classic and basic set.
Thus, my challenge for anyone who is interested in this same concept: Create your most competitive STANDARD deck, using cardsonly from the CLASSIC and BASIC SET.
I am quite aware that there are decks like freeze mage, which relies MOSTLY on classic/basic cards, yet it is very much reliant on cards like thaurissan, which will be rotating. However, I'm looking for a deck that fears NOTHING from standard rotations, and can still hold its ground against competitive decks to an extent.
Feel free to post any deck you have tried, and has actually worked, or if you like, post a theory craft for others to try as well!
Cheers
