As expected, Rogue isn't literally dead, but to my surprise, Warrior turned out not to be the worst class, although Shaman might fix that soon enough. Priest turned out to be a bigger factor than I imagined, and Operative is indeed the best card from the set.
I'd argue Patches is the best card from the set. Even some non dedicated Pirate decks run it with only 4 enablers.
That being said, I was right in predicting the strength of the new pirates. I severely underestimated the Jade Golems and its legendary, which I thought would be way too slow. I also thought Aggro Paladin would rise. It's not settled yet, but I have a feeling it would just be a worse Warrior or Shaman.
My ongoing prediction: priest will eventually abandon Reno builds and revert back to traditional control. The new legendary isn't that good (it is, but not omgwtf insane), healing has never been a problem, whereas consistency is. Kazakus is the only (imo) reason to go highlander, and although it's good, it's not enough. Reno priest will still exist, much like Reno mage in the past seasons, but will usually be an inferior build. We'll see in a month or so ;)
Good question, first I was wrong about Patches the Pirate being total garbage. Second, paladin is one of the stronger classes in arena (in my opinion). Last but definitely not least Kazakus is really good, as expected.
So other than Patches, I wasn't to surprised. Although I haven't seen many grimy goon decks.

Right:
Paladin would be the worst class.
Dirty Rat would be an incredibly good card when played correctly.
Control Warrior and Paladin will be pretty bad in the expansion.
Wrong:
Control Warrior will be completely unplayable (only mostly).
Reno Priest would be the best Reno deck.
Rogue would be the second worst class. (Hunter is).
Jade rogue would be a gimmick deck.

When I die, I want to go peacefully and in my sleep like my Grandpa. Not yelling and screaming like the passengers in his car.
Correct:
Renolock tier 1, Priest is a top class, pirates will be great finnaly, aya top legendary (not best but top 3)
Wrong: aggro paladin and reno mage top tier decks, rouge will die.
