control decks right now beat pirate warrior, so the meta is pirate beats jade beats control beats pirate. but currently I am playing jade aggro druid, and it is incredibly powerful from what I can tell, it can actually beat pirate sometimes and it beats control almost every time, only loses to midrange and that is more like 45%. so maybe the meta will not be what we think it is if my stats are representative.

Just fill your deck with one drops, that is creative deck design, right?
What about Renolock and Dragon Priest. They are both control and they both exist and both are not jade.
The only way I can ever win vs Jade with Dragon Priest or Reno decks is if I get nearly perfect draws early on. Otherwise, it's just Gadgetzan Auctioneer, Nourish, and etc into oblivion.
Midrange shaman is still in the meta peeps. People just playing other stuff. There's also a reno combo priest that uses dragon synergy I've been seeing on ladder that can do 30+ damage in one turn and beats jade druid if it get late game instantly. Taunts won't do shit against it.
I've had luck with simple ol' Control(ish) Warrior. Non Reno, non Taunt Warrior.
Just strong efficient minions played on curve. Druid has no hard removal (maybe Mulch) and doesn't trade well with anything. Play it turn by turn and don't plan on some extremely long game.
Of course if they ramp out like crazy then you're in trouble but if they don't get the engine going early enough (as in, abnormally fast with perfect draws) then they'll have to use resources (turns, minions, etc.) to keep up with you. By that point, with Auctioneer on the table, they are at 17 life during your Rafaam, Rag, Ysera, Gromm turns.
I'm not sayin' its all the time but from the MANY I've seen (its about all I've played), Jade is not as ridiculous as I thought it was a few days ago. You just have to change your playstyle. 3/3, then 4/4, then 5/5 golems have a hard time keeping up with -
Justicar, Sylvanas, Rafaam, Rag, Grom, Cairne, etc. Hold down their big minions with Shield Slam, Execute, Tons of armor + Gorehowl and when it's really bad go Brawl.
That's not even teching to beat Jade. Just on curve, efficient typical Control Warr minions.
While playing Renolock against Jade Druid you just have to mulligan for your early game minions instead on focusing on removal. If you apply steady pressure and control the board you can make it. Twilight Drake and Imp Gang Boss, Kazakus etc.. will help you clear the early golems... From them you can snowball because once the opponent is in the combo range you can draw, setup and in the meanwhile clear everything with your large AoEs.

Exactly this. It's the same using Renolock. You have to take the initiative and control the board, trading way better than Jade Druid.

Watch Reynad's video, he reached #1 legend like 2 days ago, and discusses the meta. Reno is king according to him. Renolock has zero bad matchups, reno priest's only bad matchup is renolock. He also thinks jade decks are just okay and might not last in the long run. He thinks the strongest decks besides reno are midrange shaman and pirate warrior.

Of course there are other streamers out there who favor other archetypes, but that only goes to show that the meta is actually in a pretty good place at the moment.
Then again, all that might change as more people "git gud" with the new stuff.

Please tell me this meta isn't all about aggro face vs jade control...
Nope.
