Jade Druid is only good against slow, non-OTK decks that also doesn't run cards like N'Zoth. Against everything else it's crap. Never seen one at higher ranks.
Pirate is not particularly strong, but terribly boring to play against, and there are no opportunities to display skill in the matchup.
I've only lost one game out of like 20 to Jade Druids with both my Renolock and Reno Dragon Priest...maybe if people spent more time thinking in their game and less time getting salty and baby raging then maybe Jade Druid wouldn't be an "autoloss"
I really don't get why people hate Jade Druid. Before MSG Control Warrior was the best Control deck and could out Control any other Control deck. Now things have changed and Jade Druid is now the best Control deck. I didn't see anyone complaining about Control Warrior being too strong so why complain about another deck taking its place. Control Warrior has had a good run and now it's time for another deck to take its place. Also Elise and Justicar are going to get rotated out soon anyways. So lets not be a bunch of hypocritical a**holes and learn to love Jade Druid like we did Control Warrior.
Holy shit dude, there were like a ton of threads titled smth like Nerf justicar, fuck cw, and so on. CW was hated by all other ctrl classes b4 msg.

the problem is player play smorc deck and jade druid in casual also take 90 s every turn to make move.
i just play troll deck to the overload 15 quest and plan to drop all hand and concede mode.they get the free win. but all my games this 2 cancer deck player take the turn slowly. turn 5 azure need 90 s. turn 1 smorc u face need take 90 s. they not alt tab or afk . they move cursor around
Jade druid isn't control, it's tempo oriented midrange, but unlike other midrange decks it's a really good counter to control, because they have A. The ability to go infinite, and B. essentially a late game better Jarraxxus hero power.
All midrange decks are good against Control. This one just happens to be good against Fatigue as well.
I disagree, typical control decks like Renolock and Control warrior have always had a good matchup against midrange decks because they we're good at dealing with efficient minions. The trouble is that when a midrange deck has such board flood, good late-game, and card draw as jade druid, control decks dont really stand a chance.
Then those Control decks are overpowered and need something to punish them.
The difference between Jaraxxus and Jade Idol is that Jaraxxus has a weakness. He has only 15 health. First you need to play it for 9 mana, meaning you have to survive your opponent's next turn to even do anything, and even then your opponent just needs to kill you in a couple of turns before you can get enough minions on the board, because warlock doesn't have a lot of healing. Jade Idol doesn't have such a weakness, which makes it much better.

Yeah, I remember that control warrior always loves to play against midrange hunter. It's such a favored matchup...
But seriously: If there is a general rule, aggro>midrange>control>aggro seems to be the most precise one. But I learned that in Hearthstone, there are no general rules concerning matchups. It's always deck against deck. Facehunter beats midrange hunter by far. But aggro Zoo has a very difficult time against midrange warrior. Midrange hunter will beat control warrior most of the time, but against a Renolock it is difficult to win.
Jade Druid isn't even that great unless it's against a control deck without a burst finisher. Pirate Warrior is stupid - play cards and hit face. Unfortunate because despite it being brainless, it's far stronger than any aggro Hunter, Paladin, or Druid build that are much trickier to play.
Jade druid, at least pirate warrior games are done in-2-3 minutes. I had a jade druid draw 25/30 cards by my turn 8 on his turn 10+.Limited draws from auctioneer, but just taunting and playing the nourishes he got from raven idols. feelsbadman.
While early days of druid may not be tier 1 just due to decks being unrefined - as every expansion moves on month to month - druid will always rise to tier 1 no matter how bad their cards are (and their cards are pretty damn good this expansion) due to one fact: innervate. Ive said time and time again, as long as innervate is a damn card in this game druid will ALWAYS be tier 1.
At least pirate games are over quick.. with jade druid you have to sit there thinking you have a chance then here comes the draws into more and more powerful vanilla minions
But Jade Druid is only the best control deck in the meta, not in the late-game.
For one, Quest Beast Druid stomps jade druid flat in the early-game AND the late-game. But Quest Druid will never be as reliable or consistent as Jade is in getting to that point. So, what I'm trying to say is, I think you're an idiot if you don't understand there are moer ways to play than the pros you watch and the people you netdeck. There are ways to beat these decks
I did vote for pirate warrior though, because I do hate how smorcy it is in a pretty relentless way.
I can sometimes be in a position to shut Pirate Warrior out with a single card, but I'm having a hard time countering Jade Druid.
Of course, I have both decks myself, so it works the other way round in my situation. Playing as a Jade Druid, I feel like most decks just don't have the right cards to deal with me. This is the case much less often in Pirate Warrior.
Jade in general. I play control decks mostly, so I accept that I'll lose to aggro some of the time, and win some of the time if I get the right tools from my deck. I've also managed to beat my fair share of aggro decks. Jade Druid? Not a chance. My main is classic Deathrattle Priest and Garden Rogue. No way can I outlast, or outburst those bastards.
Pirate warrior is the cancer Jade Druid is just passing by meta upcoming nerfs will take them down but Pirate Warriors are in the first tier for 9 months.
Weapons and weapon buffs are too strong

I give this thread 0/10 because Murloc Paladin isn't a choice
Jade Druid is absurdly powerful, but it has decent gameplay both as and against. Pirate Warrior on the other hand has no redeeming qualities.
