So first, I actually like the expansion in general. The mob theme is great, and the buff mechanic definitely adds something new to the game. Plus, I think there hasn't been enough time to hash out more metas/decks.
However, there's substantially more whining with this release (even more than Old Gods). The most common complaint is that Pirate Warrior and Jade decks are dominating the meta. Second, that the new legendaries are boring. And third, that RNG is now "out of control".
Funny thing is, these are the same general complaints as always, with the exception of boring legendaries. Regarding that, I think the devs wanted to even the playing field a bit, giving less power to legendaries and more to f2p players (something that has been a goal of the devs since creating standard/wild, etc). Secondly, if there are two dominating metas, why don't people try to create counters, tech cards, etc? And last, the RNG arguments are getting ridiculous. Pro players like Pavel and Thijs aren't just lucky - they're skilled. And reaching their level requires a deep understanding of the game mechanics and practice.
So if you don't like the current meta, create your own. Otherwise stop complaining and just try to have fun.

Anyways, people that are whining probably haven't played at all since the general complaints don't make much sence imo. Rogue is fine as a class, Jade decks are good but not that good. (certainly not as good as shaman was last expansion compared to the rest of the meta). I really like the hand buff mechanic even though it's "unoriginal". It may be simple but it's something new, same with the jade archetype.
To sum things up, I like what the devs did this expansion. Bringing most of the classes up in power level so that they can actually compete for higher tier decks.

I never won a jade druid and im a legendary player so I know how to make balance deck. this expansion is insane how bad it is ...really insane, if they don't hot fix people give up and quit im 100% sure.
I like this expansion a lot. As for the current "meta" - Pirate Warrior will eventually be countered, and Jade Druid is already being stomped on by a number of decks. Dragon Priest is in a good place, but I wouldn't call it overpowered, same can be said about Midrange Paladin.
Expect balance changes for warrior cards in spring 2017. Expantion is actually pretty good. Like check Karazhan, this was JUST a support deck that didn't really bring anything new in there. It made the strong classes even stronger and Arena was like garbage
what Rng???? this expansion has barely any rng at all, just the discover minions and Noggenfogger and that's it, the Rng that's currently in the game is from previous expansions.

Just tech some cards to kill pirate warrior. Like in reno decks, you can easily squeeze in some oozes and harrison to be able to destroy those weapons AND priest got the new potion to heal for 14 again. This is a HUGE deal for pirate warrior who is not even playing grommash or any other late game card. To be honest, pirate warrior is poor if you pick the right cards in your deck. Their ressources will get off pretty fast and after a while, they just smorc you. Chances to not get any of your 15 cards to deal with this deck is just too small to not really deal with it
Worst expansion was TGT for me. That and Naxx. These were the only two times I felt really unwilling to play (and not because I tried too hard, like I did in LoE).
That being said, maybe TGT, because Naxx at least had some charismatic dudes out there, while all TGT had were "none of my business", Tank Up, and more of the same combo druid and face craps. The funniest thing it gave was Danksteed, and was a rare sight, to say the least.
This expansion is far from settled, and I actually think it might be better than expected (I mean, I had little hopes for rogue getting more archetypes, and until now Jade is performing quite well).

I have heard a lot ofpeople doing the normal freak out nerf this, but other than that this seems normal, except the expansion is actually insanely good this time, rogue is totally viable, Druid keeps control in check, pirate keeps Druid and rogue in check, control is winning against aggro for once, and I have high hopes for mill decks, they might have above 50% win rates. Because unless you are pirate warrior or zoo or jade Druid you lose to it, from what I have seen.

Why don't you try teching in more taunts/anti-weapon? Just like with C'Thun, there will be an anti-meta within a month of release
