I own golden fatigue warrior and I'm pretty disappointed because even my cheap beast druid (which I refined for over 600 games) is better.
Sure, it's really fun when you pull off monkey and you have a full hand and board of golden legendaries. Then I think "This is why I play this deck". But the problem is that only happens like every 20 games. It just makes me want to disenchant the whole deck, especially after Justicar and Elise are gone.
Elise is the only reason I play the deck, and without it... It's ResidentSleeper for both players. Justicar is the only card that even allows you to get to that stage in the game. And the worst part is that one of the most popular decks in the game just tries to destroy control.
Let's be real, no one wants to wait for your opponent to play everything then wait for them to die because you have more health. That's probably what is going to happen when Elise rotates. And control warrior will be insanely expensive again when Elise rotates because then you will have to fill your deck with big legendaries instead of getting a bunch of them from one card.
And the worst part is I disenchanted a lot of my collection to get golden CW. Okay, fine. More like all of it. It's a huge waste to have to disenchant it and that's probably what I'll do when BRM and LoE rotates. You might think "Oh, but Blizzard will add new cards to support it.". But we only got Alley Armorsmith and Sleep with the Fishes, and the second one is pretty bad.
I'll probably disenchant the whole deck at the rotation and craft a more fun deck, which sucks, but it has to happen.
You lose insane value in terms of dust. You shouldn't dust cards you will need one day just to craft one deck, what if the deck gets trumped by the meta? What if you get bored of it?
Keep your cards, and start to build a collection. It takes time but it pays off.
I like CW, but it kinda gets old after a while. ATM it's by far not the best control deck around, but it sure will come back at some point, as it does have great tools, they just happen to not be good against jade golems.
If you are the sort of person who dusts an entire collection to make a single golden deck, you don't have the temperament to play this game in the long term. That sort of incredibly bad resource management just isn't conducive to having a CCG as a hobby, I'm sorry to say.
If you can't content yourself with playing in Wild or making a fresh start with a new deck (maybe even a new account), the next healthiest thing would be to put HS behind you and find a new pastime. And if you do leave I would strongly advise against picking up another card game. You really don't have the proper mindset for it.

This is why we should petition for the stay of LOE legends, Justicar Trueheart and Emperor Thaurissan! These neutral legendaries actually shaped the game and decks by far. Blizzard DID mention a possibility of moving certain cards to classic though...

Uh, no. One guy gets miffed because he put all his eggs in one basket, and that basket finally falls apart? That's not a reason for Blizzard to change course. If anything, it means Blizzard is on the right track because they don't want the same archetype to be great all the time.

Don't worry there will be a 4 mana card that says if you have 5 or less cards in your hand reduce their cost by 1. and then there will be Justitruck which will down grade your enemies hero power. and we already have add 5 legendaries to your deck from prince of shit
Just imagine JustiTruck
6 Mana Downgrade your opponents hero power
Warlock pay 4 health for draw
Priest heal 1
Warrior add 1 armor
druid add 1 attack for the turn
shaman totem summon your totems with 0/1 (rip searing totem)
while I'm not one to act silly and say "dust your HS account" I WILL say they do have a point: this reckless mass disenchanting is killing your collection and your situation.
Yes, fatigue warrior as you see it, will die in standard in 4-5 months. But that's the point to standard: forcing all of us to keep the game fresh by constantly switching our decks. However, you don't need to do that by disenchanting EVERYTHING and crafing one deck. Instead, you're supposed to be collecting cards over time. If you are F2P, you use the months in between expansions to gather dust and gold then, at expansion time, you get a batch of cards then (a little later) use dust to fill in the gaps. This way you can make decks that you enjoy and have the rest of your cards later on to switch decks as needed. Thus it should go "put aside my old deck and make new fun decks in the next rotation." You may have to disenchant a few wild legendaries at worst but mostly you should have your collection intact.
Another option, if you really are that big into loving fatigue warrior.. why the ()$*# aren't you planning to go Wild instead? There's a lot of folks who hated seeing the old decks like secret paladin or.. the entire priest class.. go when Standard came in. So they didn't. They went right into wild and just kept playing their decks, adding a few new cards as needed. honestly, if you aren't trying for Blizzcon there's not much reason to stay in Standard if the deck you love isn't going to stay.
#*#)( you crafted an entire golden CW deck and really want to keep it. So I'll be blunt.
WHY THE *#$%(#*% ARE YOU STAYING IN STANDARD!?
Seriously. Elise CW is going to wild. Wild is making a lot of people happy. Just ($(*#% PLAY WILD with your golden CW deck and be happy!

I disagree, and it's kind of an insult to say that. I don't like a lot of decks. I hate aggro, so there's half of the decks gone. I hate priest, hate warlock, hate hunter, and I hate OTK. There's a few select decks in the entire game that I will even consider playing, so playing gold decks isn't much of a problem.

If you said you hated logic and liked to play games by instinct, it would not be an insult for me to tell you you were not cut out for competitive chess. It's a simple statement of fact.
The fact is, if you want to be successful at hearthstone, or even the least bit competitive, you MUST learn to play with a variety of decks and playstyles. It's OK if you don't want to, but you forfeit the right to complain about the overall state of the competitive scene.
It sounds to me like you truly dislike the majority of Hearthstone. Stop trying to make that other people's problem.

To be honest Control Warrior because of Jade Idol and all the dragoon nonsense is already crap.
RIP True Control Decks.

if you play in wild im sure you will be able to pull it off still, the meta there isnt as druid heavy
It's almost like there's a rotation system to get new decks in the mix and keep things fresh from year to year.
Disenchant it all your decision making is so lacking anyway, why in hell would you disenchant everything for a golden deck..
