I'm (almost 100%) sure Thundra Rhino will not survive MSoG expansion in its current form. With the new hand buff mechanics it is too easy for hunter to commit OTK with Rhino, Young Dragonhawks and Timber Wolves. I feel sorry for rhino, but it most likely will be nerfed soon.
I acctually tried to make this deck myself. But its like a 10 card combo (not all in one turn bc of the hand buffs) and it forces you to play cards (Tundra RhinoTimber Wolf) that can't be played outside the combo which means 1/3rd of your draws are dead until you have lethal.
But I can't see any real OTK happening, unless the opponent is sleeping or very unlucky, that is.
OTK is not a problem, until it is too easy to pull out, while also normally playing with the board.
So, I think Rhino is no big deal. It costs 5 on its own, other good combos are also costly. Basically, it's a slow card. If they let some shenanigans happen, it's their fault, not Rhino bein OP in any way.
I think they made most hand buffs random for this reason alone. Hunters also have no survivability for a late game combo like that. Proabbly not going to happen
a hunter tried to do that to me, well kind of he tried to set up a 2 turn lethal with a 7/10 Tundra Rhino , my answer was Evolved Kobold into 23 damage lethal,
To be honest i don't mind hunters having an otk deck again (yes, again, hunter used to be an otk combo class with the first iteration of Unleash the Hounds)
for some reason it's way more frustrating to lose to a hunter that plays a charging minion every turn and goes face ignoring your board than to one that intelligently saves his resources until he hits the sweet spot.

I mean... maybe

Reminds me of the Brann Bronzebeard Shadowcaster combo decks, which suffered from the same problem.

Rhino has always been a combo burst card.

Tundra Rhino will stay.
