Because they want to keep their own lore and not somehow telling the story of Warcraft again. Sure this is perfectly fine as long as there are some characters involved in each expansion and places/bosses involved in the different adventures and expansions. Likethis time around, in MSG, we still got Madame Goya and Wrathion, 2 characters that are very well known, but we also got the different gang bosses that appear the first time now. And the place is Gadgetzan, also well known.
There won't be any other Blizzard Game characters in hearthstone. The idea is still the same but just with a brand new story
the removal of the the subtitle was done pre-patch and there are more than those references too, noggenfogger (9 mana cost legendary) is a well know character that used to give you an elixir back in wow

Yeah it's fine they want to make own lore but remove heroes of warcraft? after all they are still heroes of warcraft maybe something legal?
The latest cards show that more than 50% of cards aren't really Warcraft Characters anymore. Actually almost every card except some legendaries and with some legendaries I mean like 3-5 out of 15-20
No shock here. For me, would be even funnier if they, in the future, extended the cards to Diablo/Starcraft universes.
Can't expect much about new classes, because they stated they don't have intend to add a new class ever. But it would be fun to play an Zergling Rush Aggro deck.

I think it's a great idea to remove that direct link with Warcraft/WoW from the name. By now I'd imagine that all the WoW players who were gonna play Hearthstone are playing Hearthstone, but that Warcraft name might be a barrier to new customers. Certainly, with people I know at least, WoW is associated with nerds with no social skills sitting behind desks for hours on end immersed in a highly addictive game instead of engaging with the real world. Blizzard wants to tap the casual gamer purse with this game, because the guys who grind for 4 hours a day every month aren't making them any money becasue they have 10s of thousands of gold and dust ready for new content.

NO, that what heroes of the storm is for. Hearthstone was always designed to be a Warcraft Card game. like i said above they only did it because the recent cards are not in Warcraft lore.
It's all a matter of perspective, for his followers, he's definitely a hero. Even if they're all NPCs! (Never played WoW, know him only from the WC RTS good old times.)

After new patch are no longer the heroes of warcraft? Why blizzard has made this change?

They only did it because they recent cards aren't in warcraft lore White Eyes, Don Han'Cho, etc.
Maybe they realized Gul'dan wasn't a hero
I like this change though, it opens up new possibilities to other universes, such as.... Starcraft?... ;)

Because they want to make a Diablo and Tyriel legendary cards.
This patch included some sort of Diablo tavern brawl, so perhaps in the future they will include characters from all Blizzard's IPs?
Eh, I also think that it may have been a way to try and get casual gamers in. But I do feel that we may have some..unexpected..cards coming
If I was good at what I do, there would be a lot more dead people in the world

It's because they are changing the name to heroes of memecraft.
The day Hearthstone gets Diablo and Starcraft cards is the day i de my collection and forget Hs ever egzisted. Simple as that.
To players like you I say goodbye and welcome to thousands of new players..
