It's impossible to play Control against Jade Golem right now. They generate strong minions too fast.
and with what jade golem producers exactly? Every class has access to 5 jade golem producers with the exception of rogue that got the shaft with only 4 producers.(1 of the producers is legendary, so 1 of)
if im missing something PLEASE tell me, I was looking forward to the jade golems, but then seeing just how half assed they are.... ya no thank you.
I loved that part of the stream! The thing is, that applies to Druid, but I don't think it will go that way with Jade Rogue, unfortunately.
you loved it? pls tell me how to love this, because all it does is disgust and depress me. he had infinite 1 mana jade idols in his deck, he could have toyed with that paladin as long as he wanted. after you loose a game like this, you either switch to aggro to make sure your next opponent does not get to turn 8 or play jade idol yourself.
now think about what this is going to do to the meta...
The moment you go Aggro, you will face problems with Kabal classes aka Mage, Warlock, and Priest.
I'm looking forward to playing the new expansion - it does have some very different and interesting twists. I look forward to a playing Priest again :)

Hopefully it all works itself out and becomes a giant game of rock, paper, scissors. I'd rather have that than a meta with a single Tier 1 deck any day.
The reveal yesterday, was a big mixed bag of more or less intended missplays, Blizzard propaganda (Frodan and guy trying to make Genzo, the Shark sound playable lol), with very little well designed decks, letting Golems spiral out of control. I still wanna see how Golem decks are doing when people are going to test them online for real.
And speaking of, I understand they wanna show off some of the new toys, nothing wrong with that. But instead of showing some dumbed down versions of the decks, why not invite StrifeCro, Trump, Firebat, whatever, and let them tool around with the new cards fx for an hour, and show it off. They could easily set some criteria ("You have to use X, Y, Z cards"), and commentate on actual good plays.
Jade druid/rogue/shaman, Reno priest/warlock/mage, Handladin/rrior/ter, Taunt warrior, Demon warlock, Secret Mage and I'm missing about a half a dozen other archetypes that are either entirely new or are getting heavy support from Gadgetzan. Not to mention the slew of new powerhouses and direct counters to certain infamous meta cards!
What's not to love? I am beyond satisfied! GJ Blizz.
Well, now that we've seen the rest of the cards, I think it's safe to say that Rogue won't be recovering any time soon. Renolock also doesn't seem quite as powerful as I was hoping. Druid looks like it will be a force to be reckoned with, as will Priest. I hope I'm wrong, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see how the meta shakes out.
Hmm how does Renolock not look powerful?
3 Mana 5/5 is pretty good
New Zombie Chow
A couple of decent 2 drops
Kazakus
New removal spell
More AOE
Hopefully a slower meta
I see Renolock in a pretty good spot and maybe with all the new cards even Handlock might make a comeback.... We'll probably just end up getting smacked by those pretty OP looking Jade Druids but as of today I still have hope....
I feel like the meta is gonna be a bit rock paper scissors with Hunter, Shaman, Aggro Warrior, Zoolock all beating Druid, then Druid beating Priest, and Priest beating the first four... This is just generally speaking, of course there will be exceptions, but yeah for the most part I think we finally have a decent meta of sorts
I actually like the Kabal ideas, they promote more control-style play. Grimy Goons and Jade Lotus push more midrange, which is exactly what the meta is now. I don't actually think that Pirate Warrior will be too good, and that Shaman will rule until 2017.

jade druid will destroy that deck.
As of today it looks like Jade Druid will destroy anything that doesn't kill it on turn 6,still it doesn't change the fact that Renolock looks like it can be high Tier 2 and maybe even Tier 1 so since I hate playing Aggro I'll stick to that anyway....
I'm a bit disappointed with the Kabal classes. Each has a very good class Legendary, and there's an outstanding neutral Legendary, and of course Reno is auto-include for as long as Reno is available. But that not exactly much support for the concept. There should have been more useful cards with the "deck contains no duplicates" concept. By comparison, there are many cards to help build up Jade Golems. And the best part of the Grimy Goons is that you don't really have to build a deck around the concept. Almost all of the cards stand on their own (which is why their cards will be best in Arena).

Dependable loan sharks since 1960. We sink our teeth into every deal we make.
Honestly, this is the first expansion where I think most people have no idea how the meta is going to turn out. I only say that because blizzard is releasing cards that call for multiple new types of decks. Much to a lot of people's surprise, there are very few aggro/zoo cards that will "speed" up games which will definitely make control decks a lot stronger. In addition, there were a few control cards that are good, so in all I think the game will be more or less well balanced after MSoG. Lastly, if you look at some of the last legendaries that were released (Wrathion, Mayor Noggenfogger, Genzo the Shark) I think there are going to be some very interesting decks that will come out of these cards. Currently, the Hearthstone community is gripped by this Aggro/Control binary and people are viewing cards based on how well they fit into those categories, rather than seeing how these new cards can interact in unforeseen ways. Blizzard is giving us a great opportunity to get creative. That being said, there will be the "meta" decks like Jade Druid/Shaman, Grimy Goon Paladin, Control priest etc., but from the looks of it, this might be the first expansion where you can really go out on a limb and make a great deck without getting smashed by aggro or control all the time.

If the majority will play Druid and as Druidstone is coming, Priest will be blocked hard from getting into Tier-1. In addition, only the hyper aggressive decks might possibly counter Druid, and since they are fast decks, another majority will play Hunter/Shaman/Zoolock or other aggro decks. Therefore, even though Priest will improve a lot and have several strong decks, it will be stuck at Tier-2 because not many people will play slow-pace decks and like playing a deck countered by the future Druidstone.
