so far this release seems like another TGT were 90% of the cards don't look playable and I plan on spending 0 gold on packs just dust. with my ~5-ish arena win average I'll eventually fill out the rest of the set for brawls and stuff. Honestly I think I've spent more dust on TGT after Old Gods then before it. If I'm wrong and there's a need for a bunch of the commons and rares I'll buy packs but for now who knows what cards are actually good enough. The Goons are a question mark in my book and their mechanic might be OP or might just fail like jousts (i think Joust 2.0 but who knows). Kabal seems to have no real theme just each class got 3 spells that have potion in the name with a few reno legendaries. Jade lotuses are ok looking but I don't think stealth is good and the golems are very bad against high tempo decks. Why buy those packs now if the cards won't see play until next expansion nerfs tempo shaman, mage etc.
1k gold and 1k dust f2p im just gonna buy like 15 pack open them then wait like 1 week and see the best thedeck then and craft it then keep buying pack ! ps dont craft commons and rares cs u gonna get them by time from.packs
not really, but what are you doing when the new expansion arrive, in terms of getting new cards? wait till 100 per 100? will take a while until you get a decent collection, so you will always one step behind, just like now

Pretty much. Also I'm planning on doing a lot of arena, since you can get the most recent pack from it.But being that I never have time to do arena now, I probably won't have time to do it then either . . .
I currently have 12k gold, but I'll only get 70 to 80 packs. That's enough to get most commons and rares. The rest I either craft or get through arena. I did the same for Old Gods and I have all cards that I want to have.
If you're playing wild, then buying those packs are better. If you aren't playing wild, then don't buy TGT because its rotating out as soon as the first expansion of 2017 hits, meaning they'll be useless to you outside of solo adventures (or wild mode if you want to play it at some point). But in all honestly there are like seven good cards from TGT. you're better off just buying more recent card packs because they're better and will last longer.
I have around 12k Gold atm and will buy 70 packs, for me I just need to get all the common and rare, hopefully 1 of each epic and few Legendary, will craft some important card with dust.
Can someone help me to confirm if 70 packs will be enough to get what I need?
@climZ 70 packs is good enough. Personally, I buy between 50-80 packs/expansion depending on how many good cards I'm still missing. If you're still missing essential cards after that, you can just craft it.

Last time, with WotOG, I wanted to get at least one legendary through the pity timer, so I saved up 4.5 k gold. Right now, I have 4.1k and still counting, as well as 800 dust, plus a few bad epics I can dust if I ever get desperate. Still, this will probably only help me to create the deck I feel like using on the spot (AKA, Kabal Reno Mage for Wild Mode), but I might get lucky with those packs.

this is my first real expansion pack opening. I will be getting around 70 packs, and I wonder how much dust that will bring me.
and second, do anyone have statitics on how many cards I will be getting out of those 70 packs? Im sure the chance of getting 4+ legendaries is pretty low, but maybe all common?
Thanks, I just wanted to make sure I get all the commons and rares few epics and few Legendary and use dust to craft the rest, opening too many packs will end up giving me too much spare dust which is not needed, I still have around 20K dust from TgT and WotG unused.
If someone have an idea how much pack in average needed to get all commons and rares will be great to know.

I like to make cards and discuss game balance.
I enjoy when "No similar decks were found."

About 3000 gold plus next weeks quests/win 3 games gold. I have also saved up about 500 dust if I really want to craft something on the day.
Angry Chicken
I have 5700 gold right now, i'll use everything in packs on the day.
2.5k gold and 15k dust plus prepurchase.. I think this is more than enough to get everything playable from this set
