Can you even call it voting this expansion? They aren't even pitting them against anything else; Well, I'll click the button ONCE, if it looks like the leader of the Lotus or just looks good in general. But that's about it.
Im fine with whatever other people do, thats not my problem, nor am i anyone to judge what others do.
Personally, im fed up with the voting crap. I really wanted to see that warlock card, but it couldnt be. Im done voting thats for sure, i join the group of those who say we will see all the cards in a few weeks, so be it.
You can disagree with something, of course BUT I'm fed up how everyone here is just crying. New exapsnion - crying, heroic brawl- crying, new adventure - crying, marketing strategy - crying... Why are you playing this game if evertything is so bad? That's my problem with you.
And I'm not saying that I acomplished something really great in my life but at least I'm not acting like Ms. know it all.
Btw - I study marketing and journalism, blizzard's reveal mechanics are great from marketing perspective.
I study marketing too, and I must say that this one mechanic is much, much worse than all the other they previously did. The incentive to make people commited into reveals is very nice. But the GvG one, where people had to vote betwen two artworks, was the best. There was a feeling of competition, people would root for their card, and blizzard could have a hint at what kind of artwork is more appealing. That was a positive approach: speak up, but no matter what you do, something cool is going to be revealed.
This time, it's a negative approach. "If you fail, you get nothing". Plus, clicking on a button simply to make the bar fill up, is not what one could call interactive. There is no choice from the person. It's not a welcoming "atmosphere". Challenges to the player base can take multiples forms, this one isn't good. I'm going to endorse as much as I can, though. Trying as hard as you can to make happen what was the cause of one's frustration in the first place (we did not see the card this time, so I won't vote so that we won't see it either next week) is blatantly stupid.

they don't call it "voting" at blizz site, they name it "endorsing" a gang.

need take time to make new pic and signature using the new cards.
Actually I don't care about reveals or not, but this marketing idea is terrible: By not revealing cards Blizzard loses on potential pre-order sales. With this Kabal thing they surely lost some Warlock hyped players from doing a pre-order.

Remember playing Control Shaman with Reincarnate shenanigans? No? It was fun, here's a refresher!
not sure i am hiting that button, even though i main rogue. having to vote the whole week to reveal a single card in the end is kinda boring. Good times in the Old Gods whem we get to choose who's next every week day, tho that system had one problem, whem streamers took too long to reveal the card, spoiled kids raged and berked over then for nothing, but that's the community showing how retarded it can be.

People who don't care about a product won't complain about it. In the past I have praised blizzard's decisions more than I complained about them. But liking something doesn't force me to like EVERYTHING about it. This forum exist to discuss hearthstone and everything you like AND dislike about it. People get to complain about and praise whatever they want here.
Following your own logic: Why are you visiting this forum if you don't like to watch people discuss stuff? You may not feel like a know-it-all, but you are acting no different from people complaining on this forum, so I don't know where you got the idea that we are all know-it-alls just because we have a negative opinion on something and you are somehow not.
I also feel the need to point out that you still haven't given any actual arguments as to why this voting mechanic is so good from a marketing perspective. I'm interested to hear this because Magiicguy's opinion, who used actual arguments instead of insults by the way, seems much more compelling to me right now.
Okay guys, here's the deal: Blizzard will always mess up, no matter what. Haven't you had enough of the countless disconnecting problems, wrong Tavern Brawls, lame reveals and greed (pre-order packs, opening more slots for Heroic Brawl, HS-skins) already? Don't get fooled. I won't expect anything from this expansion. Very glad I didn't throw any money down the drain for this Heroic Brawl.
Voted everyday for Kabal, created a thread to remind people to vote, in the end some of them didn't care, some of them "they will still release it bla bla". There is no way I'm gonna vote for JL, so the guys who didn't vote for Kabal can stay without their legendary too. GLHF.
Lulz, you are behaving tlike the Warlock Legendary wont get printed, because of that :D
It will, that's not the problem. The fact is I don't really give a damn about that legendary, because it will probably be a stupid reno type legendary, and I never ever played a single renodeck and will never will, cause its stupid to rely on 1 card to win games and fill up your deck with weaker cards. But I still want to see it, I want to see all warlock cards so I can start deck-building, but there is still 5 warlock cards unrevealed now.
My problem is that I spent time voting everyday and created a thread early in the week , on tuesday I believe to encourage people to vote, because we were clearly behind schedule and I'm sort of pissed off at those "they will still release it by the end of the week" people and "I don't give a fuck about Kabal so I didn't vote".

I wrote it already - because it makes people to visit their website and idea of this voting was probably to make some "teamwork", to make people encourage themselves to vote.
Fair enough, your comment slipped in before mine. I actually agree with you that it functions in positive ways for blizzard, it encourages sharing the website. But there is a difference between a "sufficient" strategy and a "better" strategy and this was, in my opinion, a huge step backwards from previous strategies for the reasons outlined by Magiicguy. I have to say though, even if people are no expert on something, they still get to have an opinion. Especially since people should at the very least be able to express how a marketing ploy makes them feel. Because everyone is most certainly an expert on their own feelings.

I didn't play hs when gvg came out so I can't say if it's better or not (I'm playing since March 2016).
All I'm saying is just it doesn't look so bad to me - because they make people to visit their website so it's good for them. Even they make some people to share website with their friends because they want to get vote. So it's not bad at all. I voted a lot for this warlock legendary and I'm enjoying new expansion, love same cards (however some are pretty bad but everything cannot be great) and click some button for a few times it's not big deal for me.
You can say that this reveal mechanic it's bad - it's absolutely fine. But why everyone is so salty and saying how they should show blizzard how their marketing technics are bad, when they probably don't know anything about marketing?
I absolutely agree with you. It just seems that the majority on hearthpwn people are entitled, and think that everything is owed to them. You're playing since March 2016, but the atmosphere of "let's complain EVERYTIME and be salty for whatever reason" is here since Hearthpwn has seen the light of day. We're talking about one goddamn card that we are gonna see soon anyway, yet people get mad. They don't make any sense, but that's how it's always been. :p
Well, while I am not that much interested in Kabal I voted (sparingly), but you nobody forced you do that work. Sure it's frustrating putting a lot of energy in and don't get sth. in return. However acting all up is not gonna change the fact. Though true, if you are fed up, you should just not vote :).
Anyway, hope you will seethe Warlock Card sooner than later and it might inspire you to build a Highlander deck someday :).
Unlike the 1 vs 1 reveals from TGT or the weekly reveals of WOG where the card with most votes were first revealed, here the vote accounts for nothing. The system is stupid.
I understand people didn't vote. Blizzard should understand that they messed it up too, but instead they revolve proudly "it is your fault, you didn't vite enough". The fak is wrong with you, Blizz? It's your fault, you failed to come up with a cool reveal game.
.... The system is in place and worked last week with Don Han'Cho. Whoever the Warlock Legendary was, this was legitimately the FIRST time this voting system didn't work.
"What the fak is wrong with blizzard" is that they set up a system that isn't generating enough hype, which they would have had no way of knowing prior to it not generating enough hype.
Only thing I don't understand is why the system is not actually rigged. Honestly the cards will be reavealed in about two weeks anyway, NO ONE would care if they had just filled it all up to 100% in the last two minutes.
That seems a lot better than punishing the people who were actually anxious about the warlock legendary and then saying it's the community's fault.
To me that vote shows hiw small is the community that follow HS news on a daily basis; and that's fantastic because gives the idea how few are the ranters compared to the whole HS community.

There is litterally no reason to vote after the voting system has already failed, since there is absolutely no reason for it to start working again, quite the contrary, in fact.
I did endorce the first week...I also did endorce the second week (even tough I told that I won't do it again) and I endorced quiet a lot during these weeks.
But blizz not rewarding the people who wanted to see this card and just punishing them is riddiculously unfair. Like what is a single person supposed to do here? I can't really push other people to obey my command. Nice from them lol.
No, I won't really endorce again. First because they kinda punished the lazy ones AND the people who actually put efford into this voting system and second because around 3-4 days later we will get all the cards either way. And if blizz is so intelligent and pushes the release to mid or late december, I will literally be done with Hearthstone forever because then this would be way more illuminati than the american government (nothing against americans just the american government) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hello.
It doesn't really matter if the card is revealed at the end of the week or not, but I'll press the button once or twice anyway.
Why not?
Voted yes, but I'm not sure if I will care as much. I think the system is very bad. But I think/hope Blizzard will take the feedback and not repeat it
Taz'dingo! Ye-e-es!

Hello.
The reason why there's only 1 choice to vote for (which defeats the very purpose of voting) is that blizzcon was really crazy.
Only thing I don't understand is why the system is not actually rigged. Honestly the cards will be reavealed in about two weeks anyway, NO ONE would care if they had just filled it all up to 100% in the last two minutes.
