With all the hatred Midrange Shaman gets I have to say its not an easy deck to pilot. It requires a lot of board and mana management. True some cards are OP but I guess its Shamans time to shine right now.
My question for you guys is what's your preffered tech option in Midrange Shaman. I've seen a variety of different techs from fire elementals to leeroy jenkins. Which works best for y'all?
That's an interesting build. I haven't tried this totem variant. Is there enough buffs to gain an advantage with Genie of Zephyrs? How far in terms of rank has this build brought you?
I haven't played it a ton on ladder yet but I am having good success winstreaking to rank 15 and just started ranking today. Gone like 12 and 3 so far.
Some of my favorite plays are to ancestral spirit a Thing from Below when you play the djinni on 7. Or to hit a totem with primal fusion rockbiter and windfury with djinni on board for insane burst. I've had 12 damage rockbiters and fusions all the time.
Midrange Shaman is too skill intensive in 2016! What else will we hear before the end of the year?
Im not saying its too skill intensive. I doesnt really play like a face/aggro deck which encourages you to go face. With midrange shaman you still interact with the opponents minions and have to make proper trades

Cool this looks like a lot of fun. I was playing a Dragon version of Midrange Shaman today. Similar to this but with some techs:
Seems to work fine after a few meta techs. I enjoy the fact that Shaman is very versatile right now with a lot of deck options. Really hope the new expansion helps create viable variants for other classes as well.

However, the deck is basically a curvestone deck with a lot of cards above the power curve. Sure it isn't just about going face, but with OP cards most other decks are forced to either spend their early turns answering the Shaman's cards (thus not developing their game), play decks that can push a lot of damage to face quickly or get lucky (i.e. bad draws for your opponent or very good ones for you). This deck is over-performing and the reason for that is how OP it is. Also while more skilled players will play it marginally better, most people play this deck because they expect it to carry them to victory (I mean when the average winrate of the deck is 55% and 22% of ladder is playing it you know something is wrong).
