Despite Kara being a pretty solid let down, I'm always hyped for an expansion.
The first week or two after a new expansion is always the best times to play hearthstone. Then everyone gets lazy and starts net decking :( your the problem lazy ppl, your the problem....
I'm hyped. I've been saving my coins for a week and a half now as I haven't had luck in arena for a while now... so I just quest and tavern brawl for coins/packs (observe a friend quest for a pack is one of my three current ones).
As for hype- I'm hoping pirates as it has been sort of mentioned in the gadgetzan chronicles or w/e they're called and I really enjoyed the pirates (more in wild than in standard with Ship's Cannon.
I'm not that interested in the Gadgetzan theme - I hate goblins - but I'm definitely interested in seeing what Blizzard has (or hasn't) learned from the last few months.
I'm trying hard to curb my enthusiasm, but with some difficulty. I generally find that the more excited I am, the more of a let down it is when it comes out and doesn't meet expectations. So, let's just say I'm cautiously optimistic at this point.
i'm hyped, maybe if they see that other digital ccgs are introducing mechanics they have forsaken into oblivion and there's a playerbase for those mechanics they'll come with something cool instead of more pompous thespians and curvestone drops.
I'm excited for the theme and release date, not the cards.
I will not look at any cards from this expansion (except those few I might randomly see somewhere, but that should not be more than 10), I want to open packs slowly and look at every card and think: This could be good or nah, this will probably just disappear in my collection.
Face deck tools. Too many of them got nerfed and bam, we have tempo aggro decks that are much more effective. They died as well and bam, over powered midrange deck, and we're fucked. Also tools to counter them (taunts and heals, AoEs not necessary).
I get the sense that fast paced games make more money. If that's the case, I expect the new set to continue the trend of strong 1-3 cost minions paired with terrible & overpriced removal. If that does happen it may be the end of my time playing anything outside of the arena. I guess that means my answer is no. I'm not excited. I am quite pessimistic about it, frankly.
Yep...more mobile users, more money for Blizzard. Their games are always fast paced arcade style game play. They never take themselves to serious, but that's the way Blizzard likes to make their products :)

Loool aoes not necessary. If anything we need aoes that don't cost ton of mana. The game slowed down a tiny bit, now they have to push in this direction and slow it down more. The last thing we need is to make face decks strong again.
Yeah because 75% wr control deck being a top tier deck is totally a better option than a 55% wr face deck.
What we need is a situation where face decks have about 50% wr, which is just enough for them to dominate the ladder, while midrange decks have about 55% wr and control decks have 60% wr. This way the strongest decks are the least played which leads to a healthy and not frustrating playing experience.
I just fear they're so lost that they're going to make Purify v2 for priest to make up for purify: 4 mana: Silence all your minions. Draw a card.
It's better than purify. Because it silences at least 2 minions, is only one card -- compared to the two you need to silence two of your own minions, AND it can silence 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 OR even 7 of your own minions, for just twice the cost of silencing ONE!
Onik was very boring. I hope they shake things up with this one. I get the feeling that they would rather err on the side of booring than shoot for something great.
Thanks a lot Bibikis! Would want to watch it live of course.
Hyped, mostly because this expansion may be the "make or break" for my hearthstone playing. If it's another few months of shamanstone, I'm done.

Not excited about anything atm, cuz I expected Equality but they made the op heroes even more op (in the last expansion) >_>

Not excited at all. Will be the same bullshit as every expansion.
This game isn't fun anymore and nothing can be changed unless they fix the game mechanics.
