I'm playing hearthstone 2 years and still don't hit legend rank. Before i play it for fun and get like 15-10 rank every month, but 5 months ago i decide to hit legend, and get rank 2 with tempo-yogg mage for the first time. Then i just try to hit legend every months with tier 1 decks and get 2 -3 ranks. This month i get 4 rank treasure and 6 rank with 0 stars. Situation is like, i get 2-4 rank in the middle of month and stuck on it or get down to 6 or even 16 rank. Can anyone give me some advices what i'm doing wrong?
on average it will take around 400 games to get to legend (15 games a day), when you hit rank 5 the win streaks goes away so you will go up and down a bit.
but as long as you have over 50% win rate you will get there. Its just a really really long grind sometimes if you just above that 50% mark.
Can you show the same from the current month only? But I have to say, I am suffering from the same malaise. been playing since beta days, and despite imagining myself as a good player, never ever hit legend. closest has been rank one three stars, followed by an epic downward spiral to rank four and almost two months of not playing the game. I have tried every trick in the book, except that I am too proud to play with the strongest deck out there -> will always choose a close counter to that. But I did figure out that unless you are at rank 5 in the middle of the month, and are able to play 10+ games every day (which I can not for work and family reasons), one requires enormous luck to ever dream of hitting legend. For example, the win percentage on the image you shared is way too low. it has to be more than 55% for sure, or you simply run out of time.
I think my point still stands, if you read the first part of the sentence as well. If you do not have the time to play more than ten games a day, and have better than 55% winrate while doing so, you have to be enormously lucky to hit legend. Luck would not be an issue if not for the reset at the end of each month. I for one really do not have time to play the game often enough. And well, after hitting ranks 1-3 for a whole year last year, but never getting legend, I also just simply gave up. Trying to enjoy the game by playing less.

This is quite familiar for me. This season I got rank4 in 3 days after patch with Malygos rogue and 67% winrate. And next day got 5 looses a row, mostly to shamans. I thought "wtf?? let me try some other decks which can be compatible with this shitty class", I tried different decks and went back even to rank 8. Now I drop all that sh*t, playing Elder Scroll Legends and getting real pleasure from game process and ladder progression here.
This is great video with tips on how to make legend I remember using it back when I struggled with it myself.
It seems that the most important tip on that video to hit legend was playing Secret Paladin, one of the most cancerous and broken decks ever. Anyone with half a brain and same patience could hit legend with it (and it's still very strong in Wild). I really can't believe he made such a video playing with that cancer...
You play any of the current decks that are above 50/50. How to find which ones those are? You don't need statistics, just read complain posts and you'll find them(a joke).
Then you play until you don't want to play anymore. When you don't want to play anymore you play anyway. When you definitely want to quick, you play anyway. Only then, whoola! Congratulations on reaching legend.
It's how it is I'm afraid. Even Team5(Ben) said that they don't like that the system is like that(source, source 2). Guess we'll see changes in the future, but for now, it is what it is.

You think you are better than others cause your are not playing tier 1 decks? Oh come on dude thats just being silly.
I never said that, I play with tier 1 decks from time to time, but Secret Paladin was just too much, and it was completly brainless. Making a video with tips on how to get legend while playing such a deck looks like a joke.

Lol yes :D You could be a 1st day in HS, but when you had 1-2 minions onboard and then played Challenger - Boom - Tirion that was ABSOLUTELY unbeatable :D

You dropped from rank 2 to 16? There is something really wrong with that.
Play 1 deck which has a higher winrate than 50% that's it
Do you guys smell this smelly smell?

So this is my winrate.

Yea maybe i'm just a bad player
Same thing here, over 5000 wins, but never, ever got to legend. I gave up.

OP, if you wanna hit legend you should watch first this movie:

It will give you many great tips and will help you to get legend.
Honest truth?

Grind, grind and more grind. That's what you need to hit legend.
