Quests completion in Casual should be prohibited. Only solution. This way Casual will stay Casual.
Sarcasm? Or you just want to remove Quests all together. I guess less coins is your solution.
Nobody wants to play ranked with one of the classes they don't like to use each day just for quests....
At least this way Ranked will stay competitive and Casual will stay place for fun decks. Sure, you have to reroll your Murloc quest after this, but honestly I think this quest should be removed from the game ASAP, it is way too dumb.
Absolutely agree with this topic, there is no more casual mode. I had play 50 paladin cards today. I checked my regular paladin deck (murloc paladin) - I had 6 or so paladin cards in it. It would take forever to finish the quest.
So, I put all paladin 1,2,3 drops and some card draw to make a new deck. Started playing it without hitting my opponent. I wanted him to live so I can pay more cards in 1 match.
I'd like a casual draft mode, no rewards, no run limits, but you can't hoard decks. Draft whatever hero you want and play it in that mode exclusively until you retire it. BOOM! Casual Fun.
yeah. concede method is the best way to finish annoying new quest. some quest just take too long to finish when u play normaly and opponent will also happu because free win . they can farm 3 win gold more easy
I'm sorry, what? These new quests are the best thing to ever happen to casual. Now instead of running into netdecked Hunters and Shamans, you get to actually play against hilarious builds like an all-enrage all-battlecry deck. I built a self-mill suicide Rogue to do my 50 Rogue cards quest, and it was a glorious experience both for me and my opponents.
These new quests are so healthy for the game, it makes me wish they'd get rid of all the quests that require winning. It's an elegant solution to the tryhard mindset that's poisoned even casual mode for so long.
I hardly think this is an issue. Casual wasn't fun for anyone who was just starting out. Even though the casual title makes it seem like it would be great for beginners it still just stinks for their overall experience. Players seem to use it for testing out strong decks that they're not sure will actually work in Ranked. So basically they're too scared to actually test it in Ranked so they test it against weak ass decks in casual. I just went into casual to do the Paladin 30 card quest which only took two games and I actually encountered a guy playing with a deck with Ragnaros and a few other completely overpowered cards. I'm supposed to be worried about ruining his overall gameplay experience? Not really worried about that.
How did they ruin Casual? At least people have an actual reason to go play that mode now and to those who get opponents conceding - you have a problem with free gold? Now that's a reason to be mad.
Yeah, the 75 murloc quest is demoralizing. Nobody in casual or ranked will let you play more than 5 or 6 murlocs a game, and will tryhard your face down even though it's obvious I'm just doing a daily quest. It took me 10-12 games to complete the murloc quest. Personally, if I see someone is doing Only the Mighty quest (or the 2-attack and below quest), I let them play out as many minions as they can. Don't understand why people have to be such raging assholes even in casual.
Once in a blue moon you have the 2 quest and match up with someone who has it too and you both figure it out
If you only play one mode (standard of wild), go to the other mode and play your quest deck in ranked. When you concede, the opponent will thank you. I had 2 rogue quests (combo which took all of one game) and that 50 rogue card quest so I just spammed low cost low cards and conceded when I had nothing to play. All that losing had me facing some obvious beginners and they must have been happy for the concedes. If they get enough concedes, they'll get to complete their win quests and get that 10g per 3 wins a bit more often.
I assume he is whining about the new quests they added, saying that people are just playing stuff to get the quests done, and not trying to play the actual game. What I don't get is why he is "done ranking" this season since you can't lose the rewards you earn... playing ranked would solve his "problem".
No, he's not whining about the new quest they added...he's pointing out that no one is playing casual for any other reason other than to complete quests with lame losing decks and then quit in the middle of the games just to finish the quests.
My first quest from the new quests was the rampage quest so I immediately built a lame warrior deck with nothing but rampage cards and went straight for "casual" to complete my quest in hopefully one game and be done. My opponent was a mage playing all secrets and rampage cards...most likely trying to complete the rampage quest and the secret quest with one deck.
Nearly every person in casual is now there for the sole purpose of completing these new quests with some lame deck that they would never normally use or play...I believe that is his point.

If Blizzard did that, that would ruin standard constructed play or wild constructed play. If Blizzard prohibited these new quests in "casual" mode, I'd play serious ranked games only in standard and lame "quest" decks only in wild just to complete the quest. Then what? Prohibit the new quests in wild?

There is another solution, they could make these new quests optional.
Lets say, option in game client 'Casual quests'.
If on - you receive this Murloc quest, if off - Total Dominance (7 wins for same 100g). For example.
Then Spikes will play their Total Dominance in Standard Ranked, Timmys will complete their Murloc quests with concede decks in Casual, and Johnies will play their ultra-mega-super-original Murloc Beast Mages in Wild and doing all new quests at once.
I got the tiny bubbles quest and actually enjoyed building a custom deck for it. The deck did okay banging out the quest on ladder. I think it went 2 and 2. I like the variety in the new quests and having the extra deck spots makes it easy to run a few special set ups without messing with your more permanent stuff. The only quest I sometimes cringe at is the win 5 brawls one during a boring, drawn out style brawl week. Most times though the brawl quest is fine.
no no .. they made hearthstone much less frustrating when you're struggling for wins to complete your quest ..losing to stupid BS makes you alot more angry and sad when you also wasted time and didnt get any progress in the quests (or the 10g/3wins)
now after you lose in an unfair way .. and then get 60g you completed xx mastery or something..you feel good .. you feel you didnt completely wasted your time
since losing gives you exactly nothing ..(xp in classes is irrelevant past lvl10) , i'd like more quests to make losing feel like making some kind of progress(especially when you lose to bs and want to unistall hs)
Hall of Fame (ignore list): aleathas, Baylith, cendol, DiamondDM13, Dominieq, doomr, glitterprincess, hamtarofr, Heck, Jwigg33, Kaladin, Krewger, Legend_Entomber, libertyprime, Maukiepaukie, PandarenHero, randjob, s2mikey, SchruteBucks, The_Giratina, TheWamts, ticandtac, tictactucroc, tsudecimo, WaffleMonstr

This is not the same game anymore.
cus victory is not a requirement , people play more and more bullshit decks now
Play 15 Demons was fun. Rank 16 sin streak!

Nightblade Argent Lance Flame Imp
Argent Watchman Argent Squire Frost Giant
Aviana Hogger Snipe Sea Giant
The biggest difference to me is, this takes forever!
Play 50 class cards...that's super annoying compared to other quests.
I'm not really enjoying this game right now and am mostly logging inevery 3 days to collect gold for future packs. This update is a downgrade for me.

But now half of the playerbase are really angry.
