SO basically every card that is remotely strong should be nerfed until the only cards playable are those that you deem fair?
Heaven forbid any class has some sort of strengths. Everything must be in a constant state of mediocrity.
You know what we should really do? make only three cards: rock, paper, and scissors. This way games are truly decided by skill and only draw-RNG remains.
I mean, seriously you can't just nerf everything just because you got beaten by it a few times.
I think wild should be completely unbalanced. 8 mana pyro and all.
I can't think of a card to nerf in standard and I don't like nerfs in balancing anyway. Buffs only pls.
Nerfing tempo mage before their keystone card gets rotated out of standard is silly, tempo mage is barely tier 3 right now, so stop pls.
I used to want changes to cards a year ago, but lately I've been thinking similarly.
Do as Magic does. Have an evolving basic set each year which adds/removes cards instead of slowly and surely nerfing every basic/classic card to the ground.
Call of skill easy. Its a combination of 3 good/great 3 mana cards. When you combine 2 cards that effect is worth around 1 mana like Seal of Champions. So simple math...the card should be 11 mana. You can only play it with coin or emperor...the dream
Saying they will rotate soon is me saying why they won't be nerfed, they are only op in standard because of the limited collection. In wild there is much better stuff so nerfs arent needed.
What if I told you the cards in Wild once used to be in Standard and most of the broken ones are not broken due to the increased synergy from a larger card pool?

Do you play Wild? Of course you don't since you obviously don't give two shits about the balance there...so what you're saying here is basically "I don't care about Wild so noone should".

Hyperbole much? Sheesh dude....I guess you are at that age, you'll grow up some day too and then you will learn to see others point of view, until then I hope you don't burn too many bridges by saying stupid shit like this.

What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?
Anyone who honestly thinks Fireball is a problem needs to learn a lot more about Hearthstone before calling for nerfs.
There's not really a problem with Fireball in a vacuum, it's when you put all the burn spells in one deck, combine it with some stall and throw it all to face for the most uninteractive experience possible it turns into a problem....Fireball just happens to be the most nerf-worthy of them I think.

Fiery War Axe - it's a 2-drop that trades with two 2-drops, so it's objectively the best 2-drop in the game. Nuff said.
Mana Wyrm - sorry, but I'm forever butthurt about so called "tempo" Mage. Mana Wyrm isn't maybe much ridiculous in itself, but considering it's usually hidden behind 2 0/2 taunts or whatever you play to trade into it gets killed with Frostbolt/Arcane Blast/Roaring Torch makes it sometimes really disgusting.
Azure Drake - not because card is actually broken, but because it's simply the best 5-drop in the game without any rival. You need 5-drop? Put in double Azure Drake and you are good to go. You already have a 5-drop (Druid of the Claw anyone?)? You still play Azure, because it's obviously better. I have nothing against Drake, but I don't like cards that have no competition at their spot and are played basically everywhere.
Divine Favor - extreme punish against every control deck for aggro. It simply punishes you for having advantage. Not even for overextending like Unleash, but for actually having more resources than opponent. Terrible design.
Brawl - this is just too good board clear for a class like Warrior. In Priest? Sure. Druid, Paladin? No problem. But Warrior? This just show how terribly unbalanced classic set is, since Warrior has both War Axe and Brawl, while Priest has Pain and Holy Nova.
Innervate - this card feels to me just like cheating. You gain so much tempo from it so it's ridiculous. I once saw some statistics that difference between having Innervate and not having it at start revolves around 20% in win-rate. Disgusting.
That's all for me. Keep on mind I included only classic and basic cards, because card that will eventually rotate out in order to be hitworthy for me has to be completely insane. Something like Yogg, CotW or Tuskarr. Now when those are gone I don't see such cards.
You take ~6 damage from Waraxe which is worth 2 mana, it's balanced.
Mana Wyrm might need a nerf but Flamewaker is a lot bigger issue.
Azure Drake is fine, the problem is crappy 5 mana slot.
Divine Favor is too strong but not currently used. Might need a nerf tho'.
Brawl is fine, but would still be at 6 mana. However, you need to look at the bigger picture. Control Warrior isn't a problem. Midrange Warriors are because of Warrior's early game tools. Wait two years and Warrior will be fine. If you want a nerf, Ravaging Ghoul is one of the cards to nerf.
Innervate should give 1,5 mana but since Druid as a class is fine it doesn't need a nerf.
I remember the forums used to be filled with nerf request threads, but now you actually need to dig a little to find them, yes there is the "I told you so" posts occasionally popping up in the "Call of the nerf" thread, but I was wondering what cards would ppl like to see nerfed next?
No joke, I am actually wondering :P
My top 5 would be:
Flamewaker - This card ruins so many tavern brawls and is generally horrible to play against, the card I hate the most by far!
Doomhammer - Just make it cost 7 mana and remove the overload, Shaman decks are fast enough without this helping them.
Power Overwhelming - Too easy to find good targets to buff with this now, make it cost 2 mana and it's fine I think.
Mysterious Challenger - Wild format will forever be ha(un)ted if this card don't get nerfed.
Fireball - 5 damage to anything should be sufficient to let this card still see lots of play, but just make it a little harder to face rush with.
It was actually kinda hard coming up with 5 cards for me...does this mean Hearthstone is pretty balanced? PogChamp
Let me know your top 5, top 3 or maybe just the cards you wanna see banned the most, I'm actually curious :P
PO is problem in Zoolock but come up with a nerf that doesn't kill Deathrattlelock or Sylvanas, Voidterror and Shadowflame synergies.

That's just called deckbuilding. All you are doing here is targeting a legitimate archetype you personally don't care for and trying to make it worse by any means necessary. The same is true for all your other suggestions as well.

No, what I am doing is suggesting a change that would make a deck based on an extremely uninteractive mechanic a little less effective...Fireball dealing 5 damage instead of 6 is not a huge deal, but a slight change for the better of Hearthstone in the sense that it would become a more interactive gaming environment.
What you are doing is trying to dumb down my argument and twisting it to be me babyraging at a deck I don't like and applying this conclusion to all my suggestions...I'm pretty sure I'm far from alone in wishing the game to be about interactivity and not just one player playing out his strategy while the other is basically just watching it happen without any way of doing anything about it.
You are the one attempting to manipulate the readers into generalizing and profiling me, I am just giving my suggestions with, what at least I feel, are logical reasons for them.

I honestly don't care what anyone thinks of you. I'm just telling you what your arguments look like from outside your head. Believe me or don't, but your suggestions are uniformly bad ones, and they will never get traction with anyone who understands this game.

And you are of course entitled to have your opinion, but don't make me out to be doing something I'm not....you were the one claiming my reasons for my suggestions being anything other than for the general betterment of the game.
You seem to imply I don't understand the game, while we may have a different understanding of the game, I feel confident saying I have a very good one....if I was to base that on objective reasoning I'd point out that I have predicted a huge amount of nerfs that has been made already and the fact I have been actively playing this game since beta, following streamers and generally had a huge interest in the game the whole time while very often having had strong opinions about the game which later have become general knowledge and an opinion shared among the majority of the community.
Believe me or not, agree with me or not, that's up to you, but don't come and accuse me of having ulterior motives and expect me to be okay about it.

This thread is seriously looking like the nerf version of the rant thread. An a mod please pin this and make this the official thread for nerf requests?
Knife Juggler i know he was already nerfed but if high mana rng based cards aren't allowed to be powerful enough, low mana rng based cards shouldn't be allowed that either, thus blizzard should be consistent with their designs and make knife juggler's effect HIt any character (friendly minions and own face included)
Life tap: this hero power is a problem for the cost, but listing all the problems it provokes would take a really really really long post.
Knife juggler is still very tilting to play against when it hits perfect with every knife and you lose just because of that, I'd like to see it only proc when minions are played and not summoned, might need to also revert it's stats back to a 3/2 then in order for it still to see some play.
Life Tap has always been considered the strongest hero power and might be some of the reason we don't have easily accessible big heals in Standard, but I have a hard time seeing how it could be nerfed without destroying warlock....just increasing it to taking 3 dmg instead of 2 is probably the only somwhat reasonable way I could see, but even that would probably be too harsh and make warlock close to unplayable Im afraid.
Something Ive been thinking might be cool would be to have Doomguard only discard 1 card and make him not able to go face the turn he is played. That would both address the unfun feeling of getting bursted down by a lot from this card and it would make it so you could more often just play the card without waiting for a turn where you either use it for lethal, when your hand is empty or as a last resort to prevent opponents lethal.
Discarding only 1 card makes it much less punishing to play early and more of a board control tool. You could see this as a buff to Zoo, but the inability for it to rush face balances out its versatility in a positive way I feel and the double discard is usually prevented anyways by playing it when you have an empty hand or just 1 card in hand most of the time when you play it without going face.
Yeah it might seem strange to wanna nerf Zoo cards with both PO and Doomguard nerfs right now, but Zoolock has been a super popular and mostly tier 1 deck since beta and it seems to just get stronger and stronger for every expansion, at least in Wild, and it's very restricting if Team 5 is gonna have to always try to make sure new cards wont be too good in zoo as zoo have such an easy time utilizing early board control type minions which is what all the control players are complaining about there not being enough of/good enough options for.
What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?
The reason people play azure drake is because there are no other good 5 drops. In wild you have belcher and loatheb, so drake sees less play. Drake isn't limiting play of other 5-drops. Other 5-drops are making drake the only thing you can play.
