I keep reading (and even watching) about people who get 3-4 legendaries from it and like up to 7 epics and a lot of golden cards and for me they were just 10 normal packs, anyone else had no luck with the welcome bundle?

No, most people got only bad cards, but they don't tell it, because it is not special.

No luck here. I got King Krush for my legendary (was hoping for Al Akir or Antonidas) and I only got Ice Block for an epic. Pretty underwhelming, but at least they were cheap packs.

I got alakir twice... And the rest of the pacjs were40 dust each.

Yeah, my pack opening was not that great either, just VC which I already had:

I only have Velen and Antonidas for class legendaries... and it never showed me my class legendary since my ipad bugged out right after i bought it. I finally logged onto my account on the computer to find: duplicate Antonidas (which I know I crafted from dust toward the end of mech mage days). In my packs... got nothing worth mentioning. I don't even remember the epic... or two i got because they were that forgettable. (I'm lacking a ton of classic epics despite playing on and off since beta and putting $300ish into the game). 

I also was bummed to read the welcome pack opening thread to see many people got multiple Legendaries. Wasn't just you with bad luck.

Cenarious (I don't play Druid) doomsayer and gold doomsayer. That's basically it for me 

I was pretty lucky, the only classic hero legendaries I did not have were Velen, King Krush, and Van Cleef and I got my Van Cleef and then I opened a dupe The Beast in the packs and a bunch of epics. So end of the day I got like Van Cleef and something like 1000 dust. Nothing golden really though, maybe a rare.

I got archmage as guaranteed legendary.

among the 10 packs, i got Ysera and Deathwing.

good haul if u ask me.

Nope, duplicated class legendary, 2 golden rares and 2 epics.

Well... I actually got a Vancleef as the guaranteed one, and also opened Alexstraza within the 10 packs among 3 epics... so good deal for me.

I got Cenarius which I didn't have and also dropped a Millhouse manastorm and a golden Barron geddon, so my haul was great

packs are packs. the only thing that really matters is the pity timer. the only time I've ever seen otherwise was with the Galaxy Gifts packs which seemed to always give a golden epic/legendary

I'm wondering why are all these lucky people saying that welcome bundle gave them better cards than usual, meaning they aren't that lucky all the time.

Overall 800 dust. Still okay though. :-)

i got nothing from that bundle but after that i got two baron geddons in a row from 11 and 12 packs

i got grommash as the garanteed legendary, also got like 1000 dust wich was more than i needed for control warrior.
