Since the Recruit a Friend promotion started I created 5 smurf accounts to recruit to get the free packs for my main. All of the accounts have at least one class higher than level 20 and their quests have been cleared and swapped on most days. The purpose of this was to hopefully farm the 80g Friend quest and funnel the gold into my main. Since then I have also created 2 further accounts and done the same thing with them, 7 smurf accounts in total.
However, how come I've had the 80g Play a Friend quest 5 times on my main and only 4 times on all the other accounts put together? The last Play a Friend quest on the smurf accounts was about 3 weeks ago despite swapping out quests every single day.
Blizzard put preventive blocks in the system to stop this kind of abuse, no one knows what the actual guidelines are but basically, you have to be actively playing on the account just like your main to be able to roll the 80g quest. If you just log in and reroll, the chance of getting the quest is almost non existent or very low. Especially since they released this quest with morgl, they no doubt foresaw that players who made 4-5 smurf accounts for the rewards of morgl would try to just log in and reroll for the 80g quests. My one account I made for morgl that I played on occasionally has only gotten one 80g quest since it released, while my main account that I play on daily has received it over 6 times, since blizzard has put some hidden requirements to be able to receive the quest.
Cheating? He's just creating smurf accounts - I don't think Blizzard gives a fuck if anyone makes multiple accounts, as long as it's not for hacking or botting.
To OP, I think it's just low chances of getting the quest. There's like 30 quests so it's like a 3% chance to get the quest every day from one account. I have an F2P account in addition to my main account, and over the last 2 months, I think I've gotten the quest maybe twice on each account. Very very low chance of occurring, based on my experience.
It's not cheating or abuse when there were guides and posts all over the internet on how to get Morgl and the packs as quickly as possible for people with no friends remotely interested in Hearthstone.
It's actually quite common for people to have multiple accounts for all kinds of reasons and I don't see anything against it in the T&Cs.

I believe this is correct. I understand that yes the quest drop rate is low, but my friend has gotten it twice this week and I've gotten it twice in the past two weeks, I really think it does have to do with being active on the account

uuuuuhhh
upsetting blizzard, presumably
did you really not think about anything you said before you posted? no one is going to help you.
The best way to solve problems is to create more problems until you are dead

I tried using 4 different accounts.
i dont get a single 80gold friend quest for 2 weeks on 4 of them.
it is that rare
That is so weird because on my main account I have only got the 80g quest 2 times, and I play everyday like 3 or more hours daily

The 80g quest is as rare as the 100g one... that simple
