I play on an ipad air and the game has never once crashed in the middle of a match and I've been using it for around 12 months. It occasionally crashes when I go into my collection but that is pretty rare.
Congrats on your new Pro! I have been using an Air 2 for about a year and the only bug I have dealt with is an audio glitch that happens every time you leave the app running in the background. The work around is to double tap the home button and then fully exit Hearthstone before you open it back up. Other than that, it runs great and I probably play more games on iPad than I do on PC, but if i'm in for a longer play sesh then I'll go PC with a deck tracker.
Hey
i am seriously thinking about buying an iPad soon, mainly for playing Hearthstone. Looking at the iPad Pro or latest normal ipad
the thread about issues with the game crashing on iPad is making me doubt the purchase
just want to ask - do you guys play on iPad? What issues do you have? Would you recommend playing on iPad in general
thanks in advance

I have never had an issue with my iPad Air 2 while playing heartstone.
Dead but dreaming
Thanks for the advice all. This message is coming at you from my brand new iPad Pro (what a brat!) and the game and everything else runs like a dream.

I use a Mini 2 and never had a problem. It runs at 30fps, but it's a smooth experience for what it is.
