That's actually one of the reason my friend i showed this game quit.
MEGALUL if this is true. Quitting the game for a case that happens 1/1000 games.
So no i get how to reply properly thank you. Well this imbalance along with transforming cthun makes doomcaller null and void. Not to mention places new players in rank against people with gold hero's? I mean even if they don't fix cthun. They need to fix the ranking if they want new players.

Also, of course it's true it's pretty sad for people to lie for the better of a game? AND MEGALUL BACK BECAUSE FOR ONE YOU CAN'T KNOW IT HAPPENS 1/1000 TIMES AND FOR TWO THAT'S A HORRIBLE FALSE STATISTIC... SIR.
I agree with OP. Many C'Thun interactions are incoherent to say the least, wording is very very poor (Doomcaller's battlecry not activating if C'Thun is stolen is silly) and that's a big no for a game that claims to be competitive.
When your C'Thuns get buffed, your C'Thuns get buffed. You can't nerf or silence your C'Thuns man. That ain't right.
So you can't nerf Cthun? Go try and transform him, not only is he nerfed but Doomcaller won't bring him back. I'd like to hear opinions on this as well. Because I feel that is not right.

After spending 5 hours of watching twitch streams and reading twitch retard chat today, I thought I've already read the most stupid things for the day ... I was wrong ...
Quitting something because one don't understand how it works is not an argument that should be used in any conversation ... Ever ... Unless you're 7 years old
Here you have a perfect example of someone who claims to be smart. Yet loses all credibility because he carries himself like a child who has no control over their emotions. This is a mature conversation. People don't quit because they don't understand it. They feel it is unbalanced and after reading this people agree especially when it comes to transforming cthun. Why don't you grow up a little then come back and talk with a mature audience.?
The card works the way it is supposed to. Now, is the 10/10 trigger remotely appropriate given how easy that is to pull off? Of course not, but we can't really expect blizzard to actually balance the game.
This! 10 is just too low, too easily achieved for being a relevant trigger limit, making AS a bit OP. This goes for the Twin Emperor as well btw, but at least he's a legendary ^^
Thank you! A great post to add! I agree with it being too low also considering people get him up to 50-60. Thanks for your opinion!
Really with all these arguments going around, just watch disguised toast's video I posted earlier. He explains every little C'thun interaction.
It's not an argument it's a discussion. Yet unfortunately there are a lot of immature people involved in these discussions. Not saying you are one of these people just saying that in general. Thanks for the video.

Thank you for this opinion on the thread. Thank everyone really who interacted in a mature fashion with this discussion.
The real problem is "how the hell can C'Thun synergy work without C'Thun"? It should at least require it to exist in the deck/hand/dead pile.
Thank you for the videos guys not just mvontzeskagrad but everyone else. The reason for the discussions are to bring these things to light for the better of the game and new players. I wish I would have seen more interaction on ranked play and new players being matched against gold hero's. I will be watching this video now.
So I'm still new to this form and just learned how to reply back to where the individual can see I'm replying to them. My posts about immaturity etc. are in regards to the few people who only came on here to call people names. They don't care about mature discussion only name calling and disrespect. O well you have to expect in a huge forum like this for some people to be hateful or trolls.
dude 1st day of ladder and meta is 100% aggro there is 0 C Thun warriros only aggro shamans zoolocks and aggro Hunters.
That's not accurate. This discussion is not only about cthun. The new people I bring don't just quit because of Cthun. That only adds to it when they are new playing against gold hero's which is not balanced and very unfair. My friend Watashi for instance... tried rank... 4 games in a row someone with a gold hero power. So would you say that is balanced or not? Would you say that would make new players want to stay around or not?
Cthun buffs are a global effect. If you play mtg, think of each +1/+1 buff as one enchantment. Even though cthun is silenced it still gets buffs from a seperate source.
The expansion is titled "Whispers of the Old Gods" and C'Thun is a God, the card/minion is simply his Avatar. I'm pretty sure the mechanic is working as intended and it wasn't just lazy programming.

Wtf has a gold hero power to do with balance? There is no difference between a gold hero power and a normal one. I assume that your real problem are decks that you meet in low ranks but which have a lot of legendaries. I for my sake have not one golden hero, but I have nearly every good legendary and can make any deck I want. Some of my friends have a lot of golden heroes, but are far away from a full collection.
As others have said, the stats of C'Thun are hardcoded to the player not the minion and it should be. There are so many reasons, you're building an entire deck around C'Thun so it would be far too devastating if you could just gimp that players entire deck by silencing C'Thun or stealing the hardcoded stats with something like Sylvannas/Entomb etc.

Life is OP.
Please Blizzard nerf Life.
Life banned from standard format confirmed. Indirect Death buff.
Thank you Blizzard.
The card for at checks if the buffed C'thun of the Player is above 10 OR the C'thun itself is above 10 disguised toast made a video about it.

I would have thought that he would quit just because of how frustrating Ancient Shieldbearer is to play against.
10 armor for 1.5 mana is preeeetty dumb.
