1. It's not based on RNG. It has some RNG but way less than most people think. 2. Not a single card was "buffed" in the game and they don't intend to do it. 3. Priest was weak and got a bad card, what would you expect? Thanks? 4. This kind of "problem" isn't from hearthpwn community but from every single card game community. 5. The main problem here is that we will pay real bucks to get an insufficient card (and yes, we will pay knowing this, because there are good and desirable cards)
Yes, most of all is just qq, but people qq about everything and this point they are at least correct. Better complain about a bad card than complain about RNG.
1. It's a 100% RNG based game, not mentioning the cards with RNG effects, but the card drawing alone makes it a 100% RNG reliant game.
2. First of all, there were cards that were literally buffed: "Ice rager" is an example. Second, cards don't need to be buffed if they're releasing new cards every few months. It doesn't make sense to change playable cards when they're releasing new ones every few months. The only reason cards are not playable is because better cards exist, and every expansion will release some top tier cards which will replace all cards. Would you like it if every time they released good cards they'd buff those who were played but are now worse?
3. Priest wasn't ALWAYS weak. Shaman was weaker AND had fewer play styles. And I understand that you didn't read my previous post. In order for Blizzard to know that priest would become the new underdog, they had to foretell it months before it happened, that's impossible by anyone, sorry.
4. Which means this includes the hearthpwn community, which are technically the only ones seeing this thread...
5. Not every card is meant to be strong. Releasing new cards is meant to make the game more diverse and fun, not more competitive (which actually makes the game less competitive since if all cards were equally strong it wouldn't be fun at all to play the game). So this time priest got the short stick, and when such a thing happens, Blizzard has ALWAYS fixed the problem, so ya.
7. If you're suggestion I complained about RNG, then I don't know where you got that from.

Ok.
Legend players are just lucky, Kolento should really play in the lottery. That kind of argument bores me to death and I won't even bother to answer the other stuff. You're just babbling to "prove" a point that has none. It's incredibly boring. The card is bad, people will complain. If you're so different, get over it already. Stop complaining about complainers, this doesn't even make sense.

Well, I took the time to reply to every one of your points elaborately, out of respect. But if you're going to these depths of disrespect just because I disagree with you, there's no point to talking with someone like you.

I'm not the type to complain about pessimism since I think it is necessary at some points. But Jesus Christ, these people can never just be happy for once! They always find something to complain about, whether it be a class they liked got nerfed, or adventures being paid again, and then blow those negatives out to the extremes and conclude that the game is dead because of that one change.

There are different kind of whiners. For example people may say negative opinion to criticize and still to not be whining. I think that criticizing with good manners is really good. This help Bliz, to understand when something is not ok. The problem is that most of the comunity is like the post above me... they just try to offense someone (in internet), without saying anything meaningful. Of course this is something which no one need. I think that the fact that game is 6+ maybe help, to have immature community. And normally it is much more trendy to be hater.
For example I too criticize almost every single card from new expansion, but because I compare them to year of the mammoth. Of course that doesn't mean that they may not see play or I may be wrong, but the meta right now looks too different. More and more in the expansion I start to see, that maybe year of the dragon will lower down power level of the game a bit, so may first impression is wrong. But I don't see my negativity to the card as whining, but more like my opinion for the card based on the current meta. Every post with good explanation on the point which person is doing is fine for me.
And we shouldn't forget, that today is modern to hate Blizzard and blame Activision. I am happy that at least artifact's player base is already gone, so at least we shouldn't listen them too in every single thread. And this is actually make pretty hard for Blizzard to hear us, because now criticizing on some feature is lost in the sea of hate.
OT: About RNG in hearthstone: If we call that every card game is rng game, because of the card draw... ok, hs is RNG game. And anyway card games are popular in the whole world. Even things as poker are just a rng game. If we put aside card draw as rng, Hearthstone in general is not that RNG game or at least on the top level. Most of the decks are not based on RNG at all or the RNG in the deck is pretty calculated and controllable. Can someone tell me a really rng based deck in rank 5 to legend (including). More likely the problem can be that there is some really OP card, which when we draw them, the game is over, but that is not the problem of RNG, but of the OP card, which depends whole game on it. Is 2nd turn keleset RNG? No, Keleset is just OP, and when you draw it, you become too strong. Only RNG here is on the drawing card, but this is fine. So actually maybe we need less cards, which end the game in a turn.

Necro thread or not the point still stands. People are too whiny. Just look at every card reveal.

Locked for necromancey. The last post was in 2016, rather create a new thread if you want to discuss this topic.
