The amount of control these guys have this season/meta is nuts. Cabal Shadow Priests, Shadow Word: Pain, Shadow Word: Death, Entomb, Excavated Evil, Auchenei Soulpriests and Circle of Healing, Mind Control if they run it, Thoughtsteal and getting lucky and swiping your control cards. Mixed with the healing out the ying yang from the Darkshire Alchemists and Twilight Darkmenders if they're running a C'Thun deck. Not to mention all the card draw. Way to many answers and control for one class to have...
Priests are currently the weakest class in standard. The control tools they have is limited to situational single target removal and very weak mass removals.
Choose an opponents minion with 2 attack or less and shuffle it in your deck. It remains 6 mana ofcours as Priest already have so many annoying cards at their exposal.
I'd gladly trade some of that 'OP' control toolbox for my old Deathlord and Velen's Chosen. Because as fun as it is to destroy a gazillion Control Warriors, sometimes you like to have a more consistent winrate against Aggro, too. Or maybe I'm talking crazy here.
I actually agree with OP, Priest is not overpowered but playing against it is such a painful experience, Anything you play gets entombed or deathed or cabaled and it becomes annoying at a certain point, Priest has too many answers and too few threats, Blizzard should really start giving them less answers and more threats so they can actually play proactively instead of trying to answer everything, All other classes have powerful threats that can win a game of left unanswered, Priest has none, Instead they have piles of reactive cards that try to counter everything and unless they draw the right cards at the right moment then they'll get rolled over by midrange and aggro.
Well they definately have some good matchups for them right now. They can destroy aggro shaman pretty easy. Shadow word dealth both things from below and entomb faceless then cabal small drops and thoughtsteel some other good cards. They are THE most frustrating class for me to play against. HATE Priests with a passion. Even if they are considered the worst class right now.

Remember when priests were actually good against face decks?

I'm glad there are some intelligent people out there. Let me rephrase actually because that's too generous. I'm streaming with tears from finally seeing an intelligent person in the blizzard community after a decade of searching. How does it feel being in that top 1%? The other 99 mindlessly opposing your rational thoughts..
Entomb should've never existed, same as lightbomb, but it does and it should've been 8+ mana.
Priest is actually the worst class in hearthstone by a long shot. Every single class has its ways of making you salty. We all know that priest is actually is desperate need of a BUFF and if you lose one game to a card/class, then don't post a salty thread. For example, it is like posting a thread about how Yogg-Saron, Hope's End is the best card ever because your opponent got super lucky and 4x Mind Blasted you. It's obvious that Yogg-Saron, Hope's End is not a OP card, but when you get lucky, it can be OP. That is true with every card.
"entomb/lightbomb should not exist/cost 8 mana, but I'm okay with a 5 mana Brawl, 3 mana Hex, 4 mana Polymorph, 3 mana Aldor Peacekeeper, 1 mana Hunter's Mark, 3 mana Elemental Destruction, etc etc etc"
You're just salty OP.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.

And still one of the worst classes on the ladder. Good for them.

OP is clearly trolling.
Please do not confuse last week's Tavern Brawl with the actual ladder meta.
LUL
Yes nerf priests because if they get lucky they can steal a control deck's good cards. WTF bro.
It's wierd how Priest has the most bullshit and most op control cards and yet sucks as a control deck.

Priest is in the worst spot its been ever, or at the very least, in a long long time. If anything, Priest needs BETTER cards.

Unbelievable that there really are people who think Priest is currently OP...
LOL this can't be serious.
The best priest deck is Tier 3, and priest is OP... Ok

Unstable portal -> Servant of Yogg-Saron -> Brawl -> Servant wins with opponent's board full. Never Lucky

I hate priest. But they don't need nerfs. They're fine as they are (in the bottom)
