My guess is the 29th. Working for a video game development company I know exactly what it's like releasing something brand new like this, in fact we had to delay our release date twice for the latest update because of all the unexpected bugs / design changes etc.
Please keep in mind this is our first Adventure for Hearthstone. As Aratil mentioned earlier this week, we've still got some back-end work to do. That means timelines might have to shift around, which isn't great (for any of us), but it is necessary.
We'd prefer to let you guys know of a specific release date when we have a reasonable degree of confidence that it won't need to change.
It seems like a typical Blizzard, prep you for disappointment post.

I agree. I would've rather had it now, but I think that may be the best date now.

And the sad thing about all of this is you know there will still be several bugs when they actually release it........................................

Yeah, that post is worrisome. Since they've already said on multiple occasions that Naxx is still on track for July, they really don't want to come out and say that it's now being delayed until August. However, it is still a strong possibility especially if they're having difficulty smashing whatever bugs they may be dealing with without creating any new bugs to deal with.
Keeping it vague but 'still on track for July' gives them up until the 29th for a logical release and technically up until the 31st for an abnormal but still 'in July' release. So I too am going to put my vote in for the 29th. My guess is it could probably be released on the 22nd and they'll end up giving themselves that extra week to ensure that the most serious bugs are dealt with before going live.
I think it's important for people to remember that a delayed, problem-free-ish release is far, far better than a rushed mega-buggy/crashy/problem-riddled release for anything. I do think Blizzard's staff should be held accountable, and timeliness is indeed part of accountability. But if an app is released in an unfinished state that's rife with coding errors ... that's a losing scenario for the gaming developers.
Personally, I wish mobile app gaming development studios would announce a release date that gives them LOTS of wiggle-room, and then if they happen to finish the project early (hey, it *could* happen), then everyone is happily surprised that they get to play the new game sooner than anticipated. Instead, the trend seems to be just patronizing (teasing?) the gaming community with announcements like "Coming soon! Really!"
Blizzard is not the only gaming studio doing this (I'm looking at you, Capital Games / EA), and it is obnoxious. The studios are setting themselves up for scrutiny and disgruntled customers; we see the evidence of that in these (and other) discussion forums. Ultimately, most customers will begrudgingly be patient through all the non-specific "Coming soon!" announcements, but that generates a lot of buzz, and that buzz ultimately sets the expectations bar *very* high when the new game/expansion finally does release. If the game is anything less than extremely awesome when it finally releases, it will get absolutely shelled by the community.
Yeah, I've gone from thinking that it could be any day to expecting the 29th to be the earliest we will see Naxx. I wouldn't be surprised if they even back track on July at this point. Hopefully they get some new hires to fill out their dev team so next time isn't so painful :)
It would be awesome if gamers had a common leader, someone like Athene (Kappa), to help them decide some things massively and we decided to boycott Naxx so hard. Man, that would give a good lesson to Blizzard and they would prolly release content every freaking month after that.
Just be patient and don't get your hopes up too much. Like others have said, better a delayed but polished end-product than a rushed out cesspit of bugs. Hearthstone's a great game as it is so just enjoy it as it is for now. Blizzard doesn't owe us anything; you didn't have to pay a single cent to play this game. It's in their best interest to see Naxx go live too as soon as it is ready.
And there it is after all...Soon....sooner....soonish....End of time... :P .I prefer to play naxx without problems that provokes a maintenace after 3-4 so more late more better :)
I think it's safe to expect a July 22nd release date. This is because we know pricing was supposed to be announced on the 1st but was instead pushed back a week. Naturally, the release would be pushed back a week as well. I strongly believe July 15th was the original intended release date, and that the current plan is July 22nd.

My opinion you are wrong m8 ppl dont need a "common leader" to decide or manipulate the massive to do something..If you dont like something dont buy it,dont play it,etc and not only for games but for everything in life everyone can decide for his own...And think about it releasing a patch every month meaning:an unplayable game full of bugs and glitches...And then you start blame them about the bad work they do and not only you all of us its our nature :)

I agree. They would be stupid waiting any logner as pricing was released and anybody is saving gold now. The financial department is probably already completely pissed by the technical department, delaying release due bug fixing ^^

I disagree. We don't need some sort of gamer's union making decisions for us. I also don't see how boycotting Blizzards new content would make them release more content... "Hey, nobody bought Naxx, so you know what we should do, make more stuff people won't buy!" I want it released just as badly as the next person, but I'm sure its not sitting there finished with some diabolical exec wringing his hands, reading all of our laments that we wish it were out now and laughing while he sits on the finished product. They want to make money, and they make more the sooner they get it out.
On a side note, I agree with most other people. Probably the very last Tuesday, so the 29th, although since this is Blizzard we're dealing with... I wouldn't be surprised if at the last minute they went, "Oops, not ready" and delayed it into early August. God, I hope that doesn't happen. People would flip out. xD
Since we Know Naxxramas will be released on the 22nd, Please continue to discuss anything pertaining to the Release here.
Discuss.

Personally Zeriyah's latest post scares me:

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON
But in all seriousness, probably the 29th at the soonest (unfortunately)

I for 1 am just tired of playing guessing games and speculating potential hint bombing...as far as im concered...This is how Blizzard rick-roll's us
Never gonna give you a release date...Always gonna let you down....
Then were gonna jerk you around.. And desert you....
At this point....

Grommash has become so hot-tempered that his mouth has become superheated and turned into a grill. In which he is grilling a burger in.
