Can't be sure exactly how many packs I have opened, but I have opened at least 500, probably more. But still the joy of opening the golden legendary has not graced my presence. Is this normal guy's, will my patience be rewarded soon?
Also is there a pity timer on golden legendary, my assumption is no.
I would say I have opened about 25 legendary minions.
In the roughly 80 packs i opened when wotog lunched i got none, but i got one in the 5 pack quest reward, and a golden harrison jones from this week brawl :P
I have an absurd luck, I have opened so many that I have crafted all the legendaries I need by deing them and I still have Avianna waiting to be dusted.
I have opened 3 golden Al'akir and ded all of them go on and hate me :D
I have opened a couple of golden Legendaries. I guess I am just lucky. Two of them were actually from the TGT preorder bundle: Rhonin and Varian Wrynn. A few days later I got a golden Harrison Jones. My first ever golden legendary was Baron Geddon, which I DE'd for Dr. Boom. Other than those four, I've only crafted one golden legendary so far: Sir Finley Mrrgglton, and I think both Yogg-Saron, Hope's End and N'Zoth, the Corruptor might join Finley soon!
Yeah I feel very lucky right now. Got my 3rd golden legandary after this brawl.
First golden was Mogor and he quickly became a Dr Boom instead. 2nd was Vancleef that I already had so he became some epics I needed and now I got Thalnos and I'm keeping him.
As a FTP this is the one area of the game I'm happy with. Despite only opening a few hundred packs I've gotten three golden legendaries. Tirion Fordring, Baron Geddon, and Dreadscale.
Oh please, I've been playing since closed beta and the closest I got to golden legendary I got are the 3 golden epics I've opened so far. 3 golden epics in over 2 years and I play practically every day. Trust me, I've opened way more than 500 packs, it's not that bad in your case.

Golden cards are cool, but to me it just represents an easy decision to DE for a legendary that I would truly want. If the card is golden and halfway playable, it would pain me to keep it on the off-chance that I might get the non-golden one in a later pack.

Supposedly, there is a pity timer for golden Legendaries, but it's 400-500 packs (I don't remember how many) and they only implemented it aafter TGT for all the sets so any packs that you opened before TGT was released wouldn't have counted anyway. Ive opened something like 300 Classic packs in my life and I've only gotten a golden Malygos but the difference is that most of them were post-TGT.
Also, it's all luck. You can't really expect anything to happen when you want it to anyway.
I've had four golden so far two of which were easy disenchants (Cho and Dreadscale) I then got a golden Ysera which I kept and just the other day I got Malkorok which I also decided to disenchant once I got a regular version.
I've probably opened closer to 1000 packs in the last 2 odd years.

EDIT FYI: been playing since pre-nax
It's just bad luck. Pity timer doesn't seem to apply to golden cards.
Yeap, i get my 100 Gold + Quest every day and only recently i got my first one (Mistcaller), and i play from before nax. Sorry bro.
Can see I am not the only one who had a long wait, just hope it's not to much longer.
Good to hear Market, shame it's playable in many decks.
And interesting that you think the pity timer doesn't exist asuyran, maybe this should be a patch idea for Blizzard.
Tbh I am not that salty about it (hard to believe ;) ), I have opened some really good legendary cards, including grom, alex, Ysera and Mal'ganis.

RnGesus is on my side
people who think they are unlucky will always be more unlucky! Go for the luck, and you will get it - just like with womens :-)

Ragnaros the Firelord and Confessor Paletress for me,
The sound it makes when you open one <3
No pity timer for gLegends.

Played since beta, my first and only golden legend was Millhouse Manastorm...
i got a golden Deathwing, Dragonlord on my 1st standard win reward of 5 packs. Had open +- 90 packs before that.
Also got a golden Cenarius when GvG launched but DE to make other legendaries. Been playing since beta as well.
The trick is, to do a sacrifice to the RNGesus before opening packs ;) preferably downing a bottle of alcohol xD

Looks like I am not alone, strangely enough it seems to be people getting very luck or very unlucky?
Really tempted to craft golden N'zoth because it looks awesome, and I also have 8k dust lying around...
Played since closed beta and only have two Leroy Jenkins and Carine bloodhoof
