After I entombed the opponent's Old Murk-Eye, I played it on my field a few turns later. However, during the opponent's turn after that, he was still able to summon Old Murk-Eye with Anyfin Can Happen and gave me lethal, while my Old Murk-Eye was still on the field.
Is there a bug between Old Murk-Eye and Anyfin Can Happen? I don't think he should be able to summon it since it did not die, and I did not kill it.
well, anyfin summon ANY murloc that died, not only friendly ones so if you played murkeye and it died it can be summones, thats why angainst murloc pala you entomb either murkeye and a warleader or both warleaders and you DONT play them.... EVER
I've read that this can happen when you try to entomb something while your board is full. It tries to move it to your board and then is shuffled into your deck but if the board is full it "dies" then is shuffled into your deck.

Did he ever try and inspire a murloc out of the Murloc knight when his board was full? If so, it can spawn an old murk eye that then immediately dies, opening it up as a possibility for anyfin.

Except that doesn't happen. It simply doesn't summon anything.
The only explanation for what the OP said is that he would have to have had a full board when he Entomb'd the Murk-Eye. Otherwise, it would not have been summoned off of Anyfin.
I am pretty sure that my board was not full when I entomb'd the Murk-Eye. I should have taken a screenshot of it.
One of my friends told me that there is a documented bug regarding the Murlocs and Entomb since the LoE release. It mentioned about this, and it did not get fixed.
I'm afraid entombed and vanished minions might count as "dead" in this sense. I'm sure I had a nasty surprise in a game where I vanished my opponent's board (nope, nothing died of it, all went back into his hand) and then he casted resurrect... Or was that sap? Dunno.
hi, just got the same "surprise" , i knew the Paladin i was playing against would play anyfin can happen , so i entombed his old murk eye, nonetheless he was summoned by the spell 2 turns later, and he won the game because of that ... so annoying
Im glad someone brought it up. Im pretty sure it was a bug for me. I haven't met this again since then so I'm not sure if this bug has been fixed.

No, the Old Murk-Eye that I entombed and then summoned did not die. It was still on my field when he did Anyfin Can Happen.

Might be worth some testing.
