I think that if you have C'Thun in your deck, the Wow emote should be replaced with a "C'Thun!" emote, like Disciple of C'Thun. I would spam it non-stop.

I like it. I mean sometimes there's big RNG going on and it's fun to just say 'wow', hehe. That doesn't have to mean something negative. It's your choice to see it however you want but if you feel like those emotes are all ment in a negative way, then I'd suggest to just stop playing multiplayer games since it's more your own problem.
Ah yeah, but I don't get offended by any emotes bro, even back in the day when some dipshit would do a 10-card BM and emote "sorry" in between every 2 or 3. I actually used to use "sorry" when I, for example, would mis-click the end turn button and leave the opponent hanging through a rope. Emotes aren't that miserable but when you have people emoting to the max every single turn, it's just a bit annoying. Tis all.
I'm not a kid- I'm 32. I got through a deployment in Iraq, I can deal with some dude's emotes. :)

Seems to be quite the contrary since you're so arrogant to think anyone who is annoyed by something that you don't care about is just a kid and can't handle it. There's a difference between not being able to handle something and wanting something to be different that they just don't like.
Wait, what? I was just saying that emotes don't put me on some kind of rage-quit tilt during the games...something a "kid" might do. What, getting so angry at a game isn't childish? Please.
I've stopped squelching people after we got 'wow'.
And I've never seen it being used in an unhealthy way so far. It's mostly used when something unnormal/interesting happens... no matter in which favor it went.
'wow' is both hilarious and head scratching. I'd be lying if I said I haven't spammed it a few time, its just too funny. Priest is especially funny because of how dead he sounds compared to everyone else. I just can't fathom why Ben Brode thought it was a good idea to make this switch though. He obviously wanted to decrease BM, but this emote is ten times as worse for that and there isn't even really an non-sarcastic use for it. I actually sometimes said sorry when I took too long, but this has no actual use. This is so much fun to use when BMing, but I have no idea what the developers were thinking.

Stop crying about silly emotes in a video game please, and yeah, grow up. There are a lot of people out there with terrible real life problems, and do you think that complaining about stupid emotes in a card game is ok? You are hillarious...
If they have some real problems, emoting in a card game should not be on top of their list of priorities. So, they are right. People who complain about emotes are either young, or they are older, but immature. Learning how to stay calm is something that one can learn, with some effort. It's definitely worth it.
Of course, squelch is a legitimate option in the meantime.

No one here is "so angry", I don't know where you get that from. To imply that someone is a kid just because he writes in a forum (that is made for posting opinions) that he does not like it, isn't childish? Please.
Don't mind me. Just Making the biggest quoting chain ever.

So why do play games then at all instead of helping them you hypocrite? How can you even be so arrogant as to assume people have no real life problems if they like to post their opinion on a game? I think you guys really have to grow up not letting people have their opinions, honestly.
Nice, you are calling me hypocrite and arrogant now... This clearly shows your ability to deal with things you don't like. I sincere wish you never have a worse problem in your life than some people emoting you silly things in a video game, it would be too much for you.
You seem to be extremely flustered about other peoples opinions, and then proceed to post about how other people shouldn't get mad at opinions. Bravo.
At the end of the day (a TINY amount of) people are going to abuse whatever language system you give them. Now we have no way to apologize without coming off as some sort of jerk. At least with sorry you could very literally apologize.

To belittle someones opinion is no opinion.
An opinion, by definition, can be about proclaiming the value or worth of something. If someone has an opinion that seemingly belittles an opinion stated by someone else that is fine. We can argue the morality of this all day, but I feel in the end you will continue to argue semantics or something else as to make yourself feel better about your opinion.

Or in the end you will continue being a child that needs to belittle other opinions in order to make you feel better as a person. See what I did there?
Fact is, to discuss about the discussion is just an endless and unnecessary conversation which I was trying to point out from the beginning. Just let people complain if they want to - it's not getting better by complaining about their complaints which they counter by complaing about the complaints about their complaints.
LOL, using silly logic to try to look smart, but what can I expect from someone like you? The thing is, there is nothing wrong about complaining about other people complaining. Why? Because what really matters is what they are complaining about and their purpose. Complaining about other people complaining about silly emotes is ok, because people is trying to stop others from being childish, and so, trying to help them to grow up; but just complaining about silly emotes is not ok, because as I already said, it is a childish and silly thing, that only annoys others, and there is nothing good about it (for example, you are not trying to help others like in the other case).

These convos always go the same way. People complain about bm then people tell complainers to grow up. Is it good to have tough skin? Sure. But guess what - a large part of Internet forums is about venting. What's so wrong with letting someone vent? Do you act like a dick IRL to anyone who has a complaint less legitimate than a starving African kid might have? Maybe that's how you view things which is fair but practically that would make you a miserable person to be around. Don't click on the thread if it annoys you so much lol. And if you truly care about someone getting tougher skin then there are way more constructive ways to go about telling them than just flaming which does nothing.
As far as the topic, greetings is way more bm than sorry ever was Imo. if someone is going to BM me I'd rather hear it in actual chat than in stupid emotes, and if the real intention is to limit toxicity emotes should be removed completely.
Said the one who tries to look smart by calling other people "silly". And you think you're the one who's helping people to grow up :D Nothing more to say about that :'D
And you still continue with your silly attitud... well, I suppose it is not a surprise. You are complaining about emotes, but you only show with each post that you are no different than those who annoy you (and probably far worse), and you want them to change their attitud? Give me a break...
...and "wow" winds up meaning the exact same thing, and people emote about 200% more often now.
Anyone else squelching everyone these days?

There is a squelch option. I just wish that the game notified my opponent when I squelch them. That would be my kind of BM. :)
