Why are they the only class that is not affected by the nerf? They are the only class that still use silence no problem with Earth Shock, heck they have the best removal in the game right now in the form of Hex, they can also ramp a 7 drop in turn 4! Plus, they have that evolve card that makes it so hard to catch-up
Oh my another rage topic centred on shaman. BTW of the 9 classes Druid Hunter Paladin Priest Mage Warrior Warlock Shaman Rogue only Druid Hunter and Rogue had class cards nerfed. The main point is that many classes were hurt by standard (Paladin, Priest, Mage, Warrior, Warlock, Rogue were all hurt quite a bit from naxx n gvg rotating out).
Priest still has 0 mana silence IIRC. Druid still has KotG (granted this is super weak now and really shouldn't be taken but is an option) and EVERY CLASS has access to 4 mana 4/3 silence a minion but somehow only shaman can use silence no problem? They have the best removal in the game in the form of hex? Assassinate exists. Entomb exists. Keeper of Uldaman exists. Mulch exists. Naturalise exists. Polymorph exists. Many of these have benefits over hex, as hex can even stop lethal damage in that one taunt. Sure hex is powerful, but so is many other removal options. Hard removal is a part of the game, get used to it.
I do agree with your flamewreathed faceless argument tho. T4 7/7 is difficult to deal with to say the least. and the 2 mana overload doesn't even hurt the enemy enough for it to be average, it's way above average. Evolve is evolve, they are gonna get some bad cards with evolve and some good ones.
At the end of the day if you really think Shaman is a problem just join the cancer and enjoy winning games
Yes, priest doesn't even use their zero mana silence that's why they got punished by turn 6 Sylvanas Windrunner before Entomb existed. A priest can easily remove any minions except for an attack of 4 anyway, running silence along with entomb and their AoE is just overkill.
Right now, Hex is sooo OP, because it is so cheap at 3 mana. At 3 mana, it removes a treat, while nullifying their deathrattle, and in the late game they can play another minion setting the opposing player so far behind, and the shaman can also evolve by that time furthering their lead.
Assasinate is so expensive for a class that focus on tempo, and for a card that cost 2 more, doesn't nullify death rattle! See the diff? At least Entomb is expensive, yet it deals with death rattle so easily. For other class, in my Druid I still have one copy of Mulch, despite the drawback. But Hex is soo OP that a shaman playing a midrange to control style would be such a bad player to not run two copies. And they can even Discover it from a Jeweled Scarab!
As for Earth Shock, why is druid the only class that got nerf, along with other class that runs Ironbeak Owl.. yet shaman's Earth Shock is untouched.. it should be at least 2 or 3 mana, to make the design consistent consistent.. other classes like my warrior are forced to play Spellbreaker if I need a silence in my deck even if I know it is a bad card tempo-wise. Yet shaman's deck construction ability or competitive position on board is soo not punished by the nerf, so they can play any style they want, with little consequences.
Yes, I understand that Earth shock existed way before.. But why are other classes nerf when it comes to picking a silence for their decks. Isn't it unfair that druids, and other classes that run iron beak owl were affected by the nerf? Blizzard wanted to nerf silence, so why did they give shaman a pass? Deck construction wise, it would be foolish not to run at least 1 earth shock.. but when I play warrior, I know that when I play an owl or a spell breaker, I know I would be behind a bit that turn, so at least I have a fighting chance in later turns. In shaman, there is no brain power involved, it is so cheap that their tempo or competitive position will not be affected.
Look, I want to tell you something because you're very dear to me. And I hope you understand that it comes from the bottom of my damaged, damaged heart. You are the finest piece of ass I've ever had and I don't care who knows it. I am so glad that I got to roam those hillsides.
I'm sure a 4 mana 7/7 will never be out of the meta. If you think about it, the flamewreathed faceless has fel reaver stats as a common and not having any horrible drawback. No matter what the meta is, no deck can easily deal with a turn 4 7/7.

Druid has a lot of board pressence, they can ramp you to hell. That 4 4/10 is far from balanced, and all C'Thun staff they got is good enough to finish a game without C'Thun. Hex OP? What about mague and warrior infinite removal. Execute, shield slam, bash... Poly, <insert one of 394890 removals who has mague>... Have you ever played against Freeze Mague?
BTW, if Sham can play "any style they want", can you give me a list of competitive decks that Shaman is able to pull? That would be nice for me. Thought Warlock was the only one able to have different styles and still good.

Y, Shaman braindead class. There are no other ways of removal than silence. Instead, silences win you games. I'll make a SilenceShaman deck who will be able to consistently reach #1 Legend all regions, because there's no way to play against silence.
Lel, i play almost exclusively mage, and i would gladily have my polymorph nerfed if hex was nerfed as well, and hex is way better than Poly, that one mana from 3 to 4 is huge, even more in a class that can with the rest of the mana cheat bigger/overstated minions.
My problem is not even the 4 mana 7/7, but evolve at 1 mana is stupid, is like the "old" combo druid, if you let shaman have even a little bit of board presence, you are FUCKED.
They have some powerful cards, but are far to being OP. Main problem is that Shaman was a forgotten class, and now that they get fresh, cool and decent stuff, ppl don't know how to play against him. Earth shock existed since beta, but now is op?
I don't think that OPness is the real problem. The real problem is after three days the meta is reverting to face/aggro decks again because they are the most reliable and make the shortest games for ladder climbing. Same goes for zoolock, whether I win or lose a game versus a zoolock is boring. As kripparian said in his stream yesterday, shorter games are an inherent advantage given the ladder structure, so those kind of decks should be weaker. The game shouldn't be only about drawing your cards in the best order possible and mindlessly playing them. The darkshire warlock guy encourages mindless gameplay as it rewards you for spamming minions on the board
Nothing has really changed. The key to beating Shaman is to keep the board clear. If you let them have a board, it's over. The 7/7 dude is not much of a threat alone. If your deck gets beat by one lone 7/7 minion, you aren't going to win many games against anything.

In wild?!
The only cancer in Hearthstone is its community.
in standard i mean, i fixed it already
People wanted a new class, so Blizzard made one. And now everyone complains kappa. HS will never see another new class again.

Diehard druid player ^~^
Check out my theorycrafted Blistering Rot
The only Shaman card they actually should have touched is Doomhammer. The rest of the class is fine.
Shaman's now one of the OP classes? Feels good man.
Want some cheese with that whine?
I agree with you. New Shaman cards are the best class cards in the expansion.
Playing since 1 June 2014.

Play Zoo, OP.

Very good cards Shaman has:
Rockbiter Weapon
Evolve
Tunnel Trogg
Totem Golem
Lightning Bolt
Hex
Feral Spirit
Lightning Storm
Tuskarr Totemic
Flamewreathed Faceless
Master of Evolution
Doomhammer
Fire Elemental
Thing from Below
Some of them are necessary to make Shaman competitive, some are just ruining the fun with a stupid design.
I'll let you find which one i'm talking about.
Yes, it is a very strong deck indeed. But unlike shaman, you can tech your deck to counter zoo.

I was playing around rank 5-4 on ladder and beating midrange evolve shamans pretty easily with beast hunter. I don't really see a problem with them
