I did it too - or at least most of my wild cards. And I regret A LOT. I needed a lot of dust to craft an expensive handbuff paladin deck because I thought it would be the bomb (I did it shortly after the release of MSoG)... I was wrong.
Regardless every time I see a brawl where I could play some fun deck I mostly lack the cards, and I bothers me. I hate the thought that I can't play some crazy decks in wild either. The silly part is that I have never played wild and did not intend to.
If some part of you like to have a big collection then do not dust your wild cards. If you care little for cards you use rarely then go ahead and do it.
Man, if you are a f2p player like me, just do it. I'm a scavenger, not a collector, so no point in keeping a Dr. Boom to look at him and remember those days of balanced boredoom. There's no point in playing Wild since I will always be more limited .Those cards are gone, so give me all dust. No ragrets. 7000 dust came from those cars, and here I am, with a midrange Shaman deck made from scratch and some dust to craft a tier 1 deck when meta gets defined.
tl;dr- dust if you don't pay for cards, keep it if you are a collector and have some pride in possessing virtual objects
.... You say you'll always be more limited in Wild but you dust everything that goes to Wild?
As has been explained countless times, most of Wild's staples (Zombie Chow, Piloted Shredder and the like) are Commons. And as long as you know how to play with the cheap stuff, you really don't need Dr. Boom.
I am F2P and I strive to build decent Standard decks, especially right after releases. Theoretically I could DE some of my wild cards (I have Bolvar, Bolf and some other cards that never saw play), but in the long run it would be a waste. I DE'd Gruul, Hemet and Nat, but the dust was needed elsewhere, if I'd pack those now, I would keep them.
The game goes into a clear direction - big shake-up of the meta after every expansion. Of course you can disenchant rotating cards, but it's still 25% dust. Unless you save up some gold or throw in some cash, you're way behind.
I look forward for the next rotation to see whether I'll be able to stay on top of things in Standard. If not, I won't care because I can build some kick-ass OP wild decks and have fun with those.

I would never DE all my wild cards. I don't even play wild, but still, i want to have them to have possibility to make wild decks and in brawls you can use them too. I think it's stupid, dust loss is so bad and if you ever want them back, you need to craft them all.
I disenchanted all wild cards when the format arrived so I could make good Priest and Warrior decks. Therefor I never even tried Wild, thought it would be full of crap like Secret Paladin and stuff.
But about 2 weeks ago I gave it a try and have had a lot more fun there than stale boring meta. You never know what come up on the other side and I pretty fast went from 25 to 15 with only standard deck. Most importat was I had more fun!
I play much Priest and with Thoughtsteal and Malchesaar I can get fun stuff too, like Dr Boom.
I would like to have some wild cards but don't think it's worth to craft them for full value only to play Wild. It should be a lot cheaper to craft Wild cards, maybe 25% of the cost.
I always DE the crap legendaries which are going to move to wild.
1. I will never play wild
2. if I know that a legendary will not see any play even in wild, why not DE it ?
3. well it still feels akward to DE EVERY single wild card so I will keep it up this way
(I kept DR 7 and loatheb, now I will only keep finley, emperor, reno, elise, justicar I guess, may have forgot something)
Ad 1 I think you should try it. It might be a breath of fresh air after days of shamanstone. Might also be Secretadin, Shredder, Freeze polluted air though. For some people it's a good way to distract themselves when tilting.
Ad 2 Some of us still have hope to make a working deck with obscure cards. It's more probable in Wild. I want to wreck the ladder with King Krush deck, damnit!
Ad 3 The dust gain form disenchanting is negligible. 4 to 1 ratio is a bitch.

I understand all your points dude but I only play this game for competitive reason which prevents me from trying wild.
I only need the card pool for standart so every dust I can get of crap cards moving to wild is good enough for me , even if it is shit ratio 4 to 1.
I also don't care about full collection and I don't have a problem to splash like 100 € if an expansions hits just to save my time to grind for any specific cards since 5000 gold is not enough by its self.
I just need to hit legend every season in standart, than try finish top 200 and play some open cups, no time for wild.
(should have mentioned that before my first comment I guess , sorry)
Wild will be THE competitive format in 2017 and not Standard, as soon as 2 adventures. 1 expansion and 6 classic cards rotate I doubt Blizzard will print enough good cards to address the format and class imbalance they're creating for The Year of The Mammoth and a large percentage of the playerbase will move to Wild as Standard fails because we've proven it's the more balanced format.

I almost did that until I started playing wild. Something I never understood is why there is a hard on for "need to play in standard" mentality?
After playing wild for a majority of this season I don't think I'll be partaking in Standard anymore. Standard pigeon holes you into 3 decks where you rock paper scissor each other. Keep the good stuff, dust the bad stuff.
Right now Wild has more diversity and some really funny experimental decks that have you scratching your head.
i have no plan in playing wild so i just DE everything that moves into there. that helped me to build 3 decks and have fun in standard. if you find wild fun, just dont DE and play it. its just not my case. i dont like wild format
I dust wild cards sometimes because I didn't even start playing the game until League Of Explorers. So I wasn't even around to get lot of the most popular cards used in wild. I wasn't around during the Goblins/Gnomes & Curse of Naraxxmus days, so playing wild puts me at an extreme disadvantage from a collection standpoint. At least I know what to expect in Standard.

Disenchanting wild cards is by far the worst thing you can do in this game
@Ceronimo7 please why you think that ?
I think dusting cards is a bad move economically.
I am F2P and I strive to build decent Standard decks, especially right after releases. I wouldn't do it, as standard in its current state is a boring stale pile of murloc crap hardly worth touching it.
As for the "competitive" aspect, Blizzard said there will be more attention to wild in the future.
Yeah, the things you wrote change the story a bit :).
The thing is you are not a typical player, not by a long shot. Your reasoning is sound for competitive players, mine fits a casual ones more.
Cheers!
