Disclaimer: This is not another thread about the coin being a good/bad mechanic or fair/unfair.
I actually just wanted to know if anyone here has a strange Going First/Going Second ratio, or any other interesting stat.
What made me think about this is that, since the beginning of the season, I've played 86 games of which 56 times I went first (and 30 times second).
So sure, not even close to 50/50 but let's put that into the typical deviation for now.
The point is... I'm playing a custom Ramp Druid deck which is based on Gaara's old Ramp... And when I'm going second I have an 83% win ratio, but only 54% when going first. Now, I know that these stats are just how the deck is. The fact is it's better when going second.
Now, what I would like to do is to compare these stats with other people... Because I find it a bit interesting that I'm going first 2 times as much, and this playing a big part in keeping my overall win ratio in check.

based on the few games i recorded playing with zoo, i had a higher win percentage going first then second. But this is only based off of like 50 games or so
I don't have any stats available, but I think it's safe to say that most Rogues and Handlocks have a high win percentage going second. Zoo's might even fit that aswell, if they get 2 1-drops in the opener.

It could also be the case that my tracking software is making mistakes when recognizing who has the coin and I hadn't thought about that.

Generally you don't want coin as a handlock.
Hmm, I mained Handlock for 2 seasons - personally I prefer having the coin in most cases, the extra card to mulligan is really big imo. Also gives a better chance of having the early silenced watcher - and if you have a giant with no drake, which is where you generally would have liked to be first, you will in 9/10 matches have a Farseer or a Watcher you can drop on turn 3. That's my personal opinion for my own playstyle at least.
Blizzard posted a stat quite a while ago that going first gives a slight advantage to every class except rogue. It was somewhere in the 52-48% range.
Going 2nd probably feels stronger cause most of your advantage is packed into 1 turn. While the player that is going first in fact has the same advantage for every other turn. So the only real advantage is you can choose to smooth out your curve + get 1 extra card.
This is based on hearthstats.net global win percentages from the people who post their statistics online: (this is ranked only stats from the last 30 days)
Keep in mind this doesent specify for each deck being played, so for example who knows about the zoo or handlock stats. But ya, it looks like every class likes going first, except rogue, mage, and priest
There are obviously decks that benefit from going second, but in general both Hearthstats and Blizzard claim that going first is better and that the coin shouldn't be weakened (usually people want it to not be a spell).
I like going second for the reason DescHearth said in that it feels more like you have an advantage. But I recognize in reality that probably isn't what is happening.
Nah, I'm not baffled that the deck has a much higher win rate when going second. What was interesting to me that I was going first 66% of the time. But, like I said, just seems to be an issue with the tracking software probably.

50/50 ratios tend to be skewed until you get into the thousands... flip a coin 10 times and you're more likely than not to get 7 or 8 of the same result. Over thousands or even tens of thousands though it balances out and you get closer to a 50% average. There was a skit on Cyberchase regarding this, I'll see if I can find it on Youtube.

Your numbers are too low to be statistically significant
Out of 81 games logged I've had 38 with and 43 without the coin. Well within the expected random range.
I love to get the coin and I think I almost always win with the coin.
