So I tried out a control deck, and played another control warrior. We both took it to the end, both had Elise, you know the deal.
I get out my Golden Monkey at fatigue and pull 3 legendaries. One was Eadric the Pure, rest were trash.
He plays his C'Thun the turn after Monkey, I then drop Eadric, making his C'Thun a 1/14.
He proceeds to drop Twin Emperor Vek'lor and it procs the battlecry (if C'Thun has at least 10 attack, summon another Emperor), yet, his C'Thun only had 1 attack from Eadric.
Any other oddities with regard to C'Thun we should know about? It's not that anyone's going to be playing Eadric these days, but with Elise it's of course possible, and who knows what people might come up with in time with regard to how they deal with C'Thun. This just seemed so odd, and wrong.
Not really a bug just a strange interaction. The buffs for any C'Thun are attached to the player so twin emperors take into account the largest possible C'Thun that theoretical exists not necessarily the current one on the board.

I thought about this more since I posted, and I understand the point-- that C'Thun is in essence a static entity or whatever. However, the text of cards cite that you give buffs to it "wherever it is". Those places include:
In your deck
In your hand
On the board, in play
Dead (and can be resurrected by that one card, or a few cards maybe...whatever)
So I understand the concept that allows for him to retain his buffs. I sapped C'Thun once and when it was replayed, it kept its buffs (I did expect that one, I just wanted him off the board and really had no choice but to sap him and play a few minions to try and stave off lethal).
However, if the card texts attribute power to C'Thun "wherever he is", then it would make sense that his attack value is his attack value "wherever he is". If he is played, then Eadric'd, his state is "on the board", with stats of 1/X. If C'thun attacks after his attack power has been changed (Eadric, Aldor, and a few other interactions), it's not like he'd deal his original buffed damage, right?
I just think the interaction should be looked at a little deeper. C'Thun interactions are already strong, and if you can give opponents a chance to deal with him outside of hard removal or an opposing C'thun, I think it would lead to more interesting matches-- more tactical ones, at least.

But if there are multiple C'Thuns, which one's attack should the emperor check? Wherever also includes eg. inside of a shredder or an Unstable Portal.
