It's obviously for Mage, if they are raising funds for a non-profitable cause, picking any less played hero would mean fewer revenues for, you know... saving living beings around the world and stuff.
Im a pure f2p player and my initial though was to no push money in thisgame so if at any moment i want to leave i could do it without remorse.
Neverterless im going to buy this Khadgar Skin for:
-The first pc game i put in my first computer was warcraft I . The first game i buy was Warcraft II with the ampliation ( still have the boxes and manual and cds) And the character i liked more was khadgar ( even if they restrained polymorph spell in the Deadwing map)And dont like medith because he was a traitor to humanity ( and for in WCI he tosed me a lot of fireballs in his assassination quest in wich you cant get reinforcements)
-Is for a good cause,even with only the skin, the arcane ping and the nostalgic i thing i can invest 5 € for a good cause. Hell i almost reinstal WCII to play the ampliation campaign!
After that story i want to know. If a have acces to a mac computer ( tower one) Can i also buy the skin with it or must be only from an iphone or a ipad?

iOS only is really lame. I had more respect for blizzard than this.
I'm ftp, I like the game but don't really like it enough to spend money on it. I only play it when I can't play anything else and only play it on my phone.

What a pain. I know someone with an iPad so I'll be able to get it but it's still a pain. There was no need for this iOS exclusivity. Blizzard really can't get a hero portrait release without some sort of issue, whether it's a $10 dollar price tag, hours of grinding a game I had no interest in playing, or having a family member with an iPad help you out (with half of that price tag still included). And still no word on an alternate Priest hero. It's one of my favorite classes but I'm not a big fan of Anduin.
In order to get it with PayPal you have to buy an iTunes gift card from the country you registered your apple account, if it's an US account, you have to buy an US iTunes gift card online. don't confuse it with Apple Store gift card.
So if you get this on the iPad and the try to play on pc it doesn't work until a patch? Has this been fixed yet? Or does any1 know when it will be?
or am I reading the note wrong and the patch to fix it is this current patch?
just got a patch on the game right now but since i don't have a IOS device i don't know if it's fixing the issue. One thing for certain though, after this patch you still can't buy the skin even if your computer is any kind of imac...

Seriously? Another fucking Mage hero when Shaman, Warlock, Rogue, Druid, and Priest are still using the basic ones.. Mage is my most despised class, it's stupid as fuck they're releasing a 3rd one.
Wow I just bought him, he's a total savage, especially his Sorry emote- "Oh dear, sorry" xD
