A game where you can take a deck from any tier and be given a fair matchup, while at the same time not be punished for how you like to play.
This is in contrast to the current situation where you are rewarded for either playing for maximum winrate (ranked and arena rewards) or playing aggro to end the games quickly (100 gold per day limit).
Playing fringe decks like fatigue mage or mill druid is fun, but the games are slow and you won't climb too high in ranked, so it's not a rewarding way to play.
That's pretty backwards logic considering that the more you experiment with weird decks and cards, the more cards you'll need in your collection, but by doing that you're rewarded with less cards than someone who just wants to play the same highly competitive deck over and over.
mtg is the game for you then! it has very little RNG!
I know but doesn't it sorta rape your wallet so hard it's even illegal in some countries?
No. You have this thing called a community that you can do this crazy thing called trading cards with. So, you buy a box of the newest set. You take cards from that box you probably won't play with, find people who will, and trade them for cards you will play with.
On that note, trading freaking cards is what I want in this game. Post a card into a database, post the list of cards (to a minimum of one) that you're looking for. Make trades equal dust equivalences. In other words, if you trade one legendary, it'd have to either be a. straight up for another legendary, b. for four epics, c. for two epics and ten rares...ect, ect. The majority of people would usually just be trading legendaries and epics, anyway, since the rest are easy enough to craft.
I've seen people asking for nerfs on ANYTHING. If Blizzard one day decides to actually pay attention to the community and starts nerfing as requested, we are going to have a game with only wisps. And still someone would say wisp is op. I'm not even kidding.
From a gameplay perspective, I'd like that it goes beyond WoW lore, since it's a different game but I'd like it more if what they're doing makes sense (secrets in paladin and mechs in druid?). I'd also prefer if they wouldn't rush things; I agree with what Kibler said that it's too soon to "reprint/reform" old cards.

its illiegal in some countries because countries see it as a kind of gambling game (which it isnt)...
Also raping wallets... depends... if you only play a draft once a week and build a casual deck with the drafted cards you loose about €15,- a week... also if you buy a modern-format deck for €300,- you can have fun with it for a whole year or so... But the more money you spend at it the more you can do...
I have played it for 20+ years and invested about €500,- a year at it... and I could eventually build every legacy format deck, every modern format deck... Standard format in mtg is the format that rapes you a lot... you have to spend at least €150,- (but probably more) every time a set comes out... and a set comes out 4x a year... so you do the math...

casual too.. i'm actually hoping for more communications ingame than limited emotes,. and more easier to gain cards.
on the other note, RNG is the attractive factor of card games imo, i only played mtg a while, yugioh also fun on ds, buy the game and all cards (up to synchro) included.
RNG is fine, until cards like Rag, shredder, dr. boom come into play (these RNG can decide the game by themselves), so, certain lvls o RNG is healthy.
On topic, what I really wanted to this game is a reasonable amount of balance changes (no nerfs at all to cards that everyone knows to be OP or even broken) in a reasonable amount of time (6 months to nerf patron decks is just too much).
Overall, if u take into account other blizzard games (D3, WoW, Starcraft 2 even Warcraft 3 back then), you will notice that they are (at least) trying to balance those games in a fair amount of time between patches (weekly wow hotfixes, trimestral D3 patches). And it gets even worse if you consider the low amount of new features introduced to the game compared to other blizzard games (we could totally use more deck slots much sooner). So, more balance changes, new features and stuff like that.
I'm still crossing my fingers the Hearthstone MMO April Fool's joke will actually happen one day and that there'd be hearthstone garrisons where you play hearthstone in the hearthstone mmo
Very good thematic synergy decks like yugi oh. Like old gods, dragons, murlocs and stuff. Not just some random op cards with no relationship with each other.
I don't have a problem with the rng in this fame, that's sort of the flavour of hearthstone to me. I want hearthstone to be a game where shaman is good lol
Do check it up, its like a mix of hearthstone and MTG
This is the best digital card game on the market by a long shot. Real trading, free market shops where you can sell your cards for in game currency to buy other cards, an incredibly varied constantly shifting meta, incredibly generous rewards for your quests, fantastic art.
A fun and varied game, where Aggro, Control, and Combo live in harmony. A game where one day you can mindlessly play some cheap, thrown together mess you created for fun, and another it could be a massive battle of wits, skill, and yes, luck to see who will emerge victorious. Also, one without overpowered monstrosities like Secret Paladin.(I know it's been said before, by EVERYONE. but how did they not see that being a problem eventually? In a game where card draw is so expensive, tutoring things from the deck is pretty much always overpowered. But thats just my 50th of a dollar.)

Just like how most pros did not see it being a problem. Most pros called it crap before release, like they did with Dr. Boom (and none of that myth about the boom bots. Those were known at the same time as Dr. Boom himself.). If they or Blizzard could see that the card is broken, they would not have printed it. You can only see it now in only because of hindsight. If you want to argue, make the call for the best 10 cards for WoG, and we will see 2 months down the road how many cards are you correct on, and how many did you miss.
I want the game to be removed of all RNG besides actually drawing your cards. This sounds like it is coming from salt city (which, by the way is a real city near where I live), but let me tell you why and why the game would be much healthier.
First, the fun and opportunity of beating a player better than you (or a deck that counters yours) still exists if you get a good draw and they don't. That should be the only way you win those matchups. You should not win those matchups because your boom bots from Doctor Boom worked as a board clear of two 5/5's or unstable portal got deathwing or jaraxxus or your implosion rolled a 4 or because the secret pally's avenge rolled on the one minion that you did not want it to roll on (vice-versa).
Second the importance of deck building is greatly increased. Netdecking is fine now because with all of the RNG effects you can get away with not teching your deck to suit your class (which, in my opinion, makes the game brainless and un-fun. The game, after all, is a deckbuilder.) For example, if you are rank 10/15 you generally (not always) face fast midrange decks or aggro. Once you get higher than that, when you see the class, you know all of the cards in their deck. For example, if you see a druid in rank 5 or so, it is reasonable to say that it is FoN/SR midrange or if you are against a rogue it is malyRogue. Yes, there are casual players that do not want to deal with keeping up with the meta/etc, but that is what casual is for.
Third it will legitimize the game. There is a lot of talk going around that at the current moment it is very hard to determine the cream of the crop players because of the RNG in the game. Removing RNG effects OTHER THAN CARD DRAW will work to make the game more legitimate, it will incline more hosts of tournaments, and it will enhance the professional scene.
Last, but not least, it will create a better environment for f2p players or new players with good skill. Some of the strongest cards in the game are RNG cards (doctor boom, unstable portal, implosion, brawl, etc.) and some of these are hard to access for new players or f2p as they try to get the strong neutral and class legendaries like tirion, rag, ysera, arguably archmage, etc... With RNG effects removed, it allows more opportunity for these players to win games, and to win games that they deserve to win!
Hey, losing because of a bad draw happens, and it sucks, but we never feel bad about those losses. The ones that we, in many cases, feel bad about are the conditions I described above. Again, I make a lot of generalizations but it is reasonable to say that the feelings I assert are the feelings of a large majority of players. And while the negatives are there, there will be negatives to any solution. Hopefully standard fixes a lot of the truly pressing issues that exist in the game right now.
For me: so casual that when you are 1 win away from reaching legend and your opponent plays a Wisp on an empty board, you can twist it into nether.
That obviously requires the game to be so casual that someone plays a Wisp.
What about you? Plz comment.

People who refuses to play aggro out of principle are even worse than people who play exclusively aggro.
One should seek to become a complete player and play all archetypes, including ones that he despises for whatever irrational reasons.
