Oh, and just to be clear, Doomtrogg Shaman is the deck that plays Doomhammer and Tunnel Trogg with a bunch of overload minions and burn spells and points them at your face.
What I understand of the concept is that a cancerous deck is one that is used a lot, and as cancer, grows out of proportion, infesting the ladder.
Reasons for a deck to be cancerous might vary, but most commonly I'd say "easy" decks to play are the culprit. Decks like face hunter or secret paladin are really straightforward while also efficient, there is not a lot of planning to it other than play on curve, hence the great number of players using them.
But there was a time mill rogue was a thing, it is not very efficient and also not the most uncomplicated deck to pilot, but it still became quite cancerous back then (it probably helped that people didn't know how to fight it so well).
OMFG i was about to win a match cause i had my wolfrider and quickshot in hand but then my opponent played angry chicken, shattered sun cleric innerrage rampage and charge and i lost blizzard plz nerf angry chickeen op as f*** angry chicken warrior most cancerous deck ever. Cancer decks are almost always the decks people lose to. People concider these as cancer: Combo/aggro druid. Face hunter. (basiccly anything aggro) Freeze/mech mage. Secret/Anyfin paladin. Miricale rogue (FailFish) Aggro shaman (sometimes bloodlust FFS) Zoo/handlock (sometimes Reno) and patron warrior... What's next hearthpwn!? BATTLECRY SHAMAN!? MILL HUNTER!? People, don't blame the decks. You can easilly play around them and if you lose to a deck it shouldn't be concidered as cancer just as a deck you lost to.
Speaking from personal experience, I have never encountered a deck that was even remotely as awful as going through surgery and chemotherapy for cancer.
From what I've seen in this community? Anything that you are losing against.
The thread pretty much ended with this post.
Anyway, I can't wait to see what decks the community will wisely select as the representative cancer of the new standard format. So far, the only certainty is that there will be at least one cancer deck.
Hello all, I am on a spooooooky secret project and need to know what decks for each class were or are the most cancerous/least fun to play against.
If I missed any common archetypes, please let me know.

So yeah - no votes because no decks are 'cancer'.
symptoms of cancer:
as Aether_lackey mentioned: 1) proliferating - growing out of control, i.e. seen in high frequency
2) causes frustration and pain, i.e. when player loses against it
3) late stage is deadly, i.e. probably seen in legend or ranks 1-5
4) takes a lot to treat it, i.e. skill / cards / $ / luck
5) needs a doctor, or rather a team of doctors to treat it, i.e. needs pooled knowledge to deal with it
6) may not have a cure yet, i.e. maybe need some research or just plain OP
BBQ an egg?
spooky as wog or spooky as i need a good deck to win so i'm asking a disguised question
any card can win for you the game if you play it at the right time
I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.
