I have saved up 13200 gold and will prob come close to 15000 when the expansion hits. My question is to pre-order 50 more packs or not? I don't need to collect every single card but only the playable ones for new and meta decks. I also have 15,000 dust for crafting.
The pre-order sale seems tempting but I'm not sure if i need it in my case.
What do you guys think? would 150 packs be enough to get me all the playable cards or should I pre-order?
That amount of packs should get you all the commons and rares and probably most of the epics. At that point you should be able to craft all the good legendaries no problem, so I'd say you're pretty good.

U can not know before see all the cards . So its too early to say anything yet lets see all the cards first after that i will know if i will buy pre purchase or no as in tgt we dodnt need mire than 10 cards it can be the same again
Depends how much cards you are interested in and how fast you want them. If you are in the beginning only interested in having all good cards and not all playable cards (like Deathwing for example), you should be save with 150 packs and 15.000 dust.
150 packs together with 15k dust definitely is more than enough to get all the playable stuff. The packs will get you all commons and very likely all rares along with several playable epics and some legendaries, the remaining can be crafted. No need to preorder.
With my TGT preorder, I opened 4 legendaries in my 50 packs. I know some ppl who got more, and some who got less, but never by much.
So let's say 50packs gives you 3legendaries. 150packs = 9 legendaries.
In 150packs, you will surely get almost all the rare, and lots of epics. Pretty much all common (and even if you miss some that are good, crafting them is usualy just 1pack away).
15000 dust = 9legendaries,1epic and 2rares. Or 37 epics and 2rares.
That means you can easely get 18 legendaries. If you don't need that many legendaries, you get countless of epics and rare. So yeah, you are more than good imo.
I brought the TgT pre ordem, and got almost everything useful in those 50 packs, i sure got lucky in my 4 legendary drops since TgT had few usefuls cards, i guess with 150 packs you should be more than good
I have ~5,000 gold saved, and continuing to save until the set gets released. But even if I had 100,000 gold, I would probably still buy the preorder, just because I enjoy the game so much, and I like supporting the longevity of the game. But that's just me.
Assuming the same rarity distribution as past expansions (37%-27%-20%-15%), and that you disenchant every golden card you get and every nongolden past 2 copies, 150 packs will get you on average:
100 % of the commons (of those, 99% doubled, 1% singled)
98.7 % of the rares (of those 93.3% doubled 5.4% singled)
68.4 % of the epics (of those, 32% doubled, 36.3 % singled)
27% of the legendaries
8500-8700 Dust (from disenchanting 433 commons, 87 rares, 4 epics, 1 legend, 9 golden commons, 11 golden rares, 3 golden epics)
I didn't consider the case when you get a golden card of which you didn't have the normal version, and decide to keep it instead of disenchanting it. Let me know if you want another simulation with different parameters, or want the formulas to try yourself.

Unless Blizzard decided to make the rarity of half the set legendary then I think you'll be fine with what you currently have.

With that amount of gold and dust you will be just fine without the preorder.
