The following secrets have had thier wording changed from WHEN to AFTER. Does anyone know if this changes any functionality other than the wording? For example does Mirror Entity that's been pulled from a Mad Scientist after a battlecry minion kills it still copy that minion? Or does Repentance still effect Jarraxxus? Or any other subtle differences?
I assume this would eliminate the Mad Scientist play you mentioned above. It's a great change because it's less confusing. I'm not sure how it works currently was how they intended it to be. The first time I killed a Scientist with a Kodo and the entity trigger I was sure that was a bug. Its a great change, and makes the interaction less confusing.

In fact, Mirror Entity mirroring your kodo is exactly the thing that happens *after* your kodo has been played. Your kodo enters battlefield, battlecry eats Mad Scientist (nested action), the scientist's deathrattle puts Mirror Entity to battlefield, resolves, scientist dies - by this point Stampeding Kodo has not yet finished playing, so now battlecry ends, playing kodo ends, Mirror Entity has a chance to trigger - and it does.
I'm like the densest person playing hearthstone, because I keep having to have this explained to me, but, how in the hell does mirror entity trigger to a minon that was in play before mirror entity was in play? How could it possibly check for that event (the kodo coming into play) if that event happened prior?
I used to think that battlecries resolved before the minion was put into play, that seemed to explain it. But, now my understanding is that the minion actually goes into play before the battlecry is triggered. (makes sense that it would)
I guess maybe AFTER makes it more clear. So, it's checking at the resolve of the entire chain of Kodo being played. WHEN would seem to indicate it checks when played, not when resolved. But, maybe it never meant that either.

The event is "after play", not "before play" as you might think. See Advanced rulebook for what are phases of minion summoning and action nesting. Based on the rulebook, the chain of events is as such:
1. You play Stampeding Kodo. Minion playing sequence initiated. 2. The On Play and Summoning Resolution STep phases are empty here, skipping. 3. The Battlecry phase starts. Kodo checks if there's any eligible targets for its battlecry, founds the enemy Mad Scientist and targets it. 3.1. Mad Scientist gets destroyed. Deathrattle sequence initiated. Note that Kodo summon is effectively paused. 3.2. Mad Scientist deathrattle pulls a Mirror Entity from your deck to the battlefield. Details skipped, but the spell is not played, so no Secretkeeper or such interaction trigger. 3.3. Mad Scientist's death resolves, summoning continues, but Mirror Entity is already in play. 4. After Play phase starts and checks for triggers. Hey, there's a Mirror Entity! Trigger it. (Summoning a 3/5 skipped, but should they have a Knife Juggler, he'd do its knife toss here) 5. After Summon phase starts, your Knife Jugglers trigger here. 6. Kodo is finally summoned, more actions from player are allowed.
Hope this helps.

Has anyone tested whether something different happens in any circumstances?
None of these change functionality. It just clarifies what the cards were already doing.
