Murk-eye is a crucial part of most murloc decks. He's a niche card, but he's a key finisher in said decks, and the murloc class as a whole will honestly be vastly crippled without him. Do blizz not want murloc/pirate decks in standard? Because that goes against the entire point of a card game: making a deck that you enjoy playing. If you enjoy murlocs - fuck you, asshole! Not anymore! I mean, they already outright removed the mech class - Murk-eye is just another step towards Blizzard banning all cards ever made.
As for Captain's Parrot... c'mon. It's captain's fucking parrot. Nobody plays it anyways - you may as well leave it in.
I think they should ban both cards. Old Murk-Eye's charge mechanic will severely limit design space involving murlocs. It pretty much already broke the game by introducing an OTK with Anyfin Can Happen.
And Captain's Parrot should be banned since banning murk-eye would require banning the reward set, of which the parrot is a part of. They shouldn't individually single out specific cards to ban/unban.
EDIT: Also, you said that banning murk-eye will kill the murloc tribe. In reality, the opposite effect will happen since he severely limits design space for them. What that means is: they must be extremely careful when creating murloc cards since murk-eyes exploit has the potential to break the game. With him gone, more murloc cards can be printed, and with more liberal effects as well.

If only there was a mode besides Standard where these cards could be used.

This saved me a lot of time writing. +1! Thanks!:)

Whoa there, if we actually acknowledge Wild as a real game mode then how else could we claim our cards are now worthless, unusable piles of pixelated garbage? That simply will not do.

By rioting on a non-Blizzard forum, our cries of anger at the removal of the irreplaceable Murk-Eye and the majestic Captain's Parrot will not be in vain! End the violence against promo cards, voice your support today!

It's fine for me to see the cards kicked into Wild. I just don't understand why the way to get rewarded the cards should be removed. There doesn't have to be a correlation.
While I felt the same way that it sucks seeing some of the hidden quest rewards get removed (I honestly wish they would add more, they're cool!), the correlation is really just that they're trying to make it so that new players don't accidentally end up with cards they can't use in Standard. Since they both require you to collect a tribal from Classic, players just buying Classic packs would pretty easily end up with either of these cards and then have two cards that aren't usable in a game mode Blizzard wasn't intending them to really have brought to the forefront of their attention until their second year of playing.
Love it or hate it, it's at least consistent with their approach to Wild so far; keeping the game boiled down to the cards you can use in the pool that's least punishing to new players until they've had time to really get a good grasp of the game.

They aren't banned, just sent to wild. I'm a little peeved that paladin is not actually a class in standard, but other than that I don't really care that murkeye is illegal in standard. It's just a murloc finisher. Shaman and Warlock (the two most common traditional style murloc classes) have plenty of those already.
Okay then... now they need to fix the other ten or twelve cards in face hunter that are still broken and will forever remain broken, like kill command and unleash the hounds. Oh, and wolf rider too. And the Hunter's Hero Power.

Wolf rider is barely even playable, let alone OP. Unleash is the first cut out of most hunter decks I make. Kill Command is a little OP, but it's conditional and barely better than fireball when it hits at full strength. Face hunter is a tier 3 deck right now and won't get any better in standard unless no anti aggro tools are present in the spring set at all and even then, it won't be nearly as troublesome without mad scientist, creeper, and potentially knife juggler or leper gnome.
In regards to Facehunter, before seeing the new set I'll reserve my judgement on it... I'm more shocked anyone thinks it's OP even in it's current state.
I'd imagine Blizzard will try to keep it around since Aggro really isn't the devil people think it is, but short of Huntertaker 2.0 there's not a lot of concern it's going to be some unstoppable force.

1) your petition will fall on deaf ears, as blizzard doesnt read this.
2) Either learn to run Murloc sans Murk eye, or play it in Wild.
Blizzard wants Standard to be slower than wild, which wouldn't be too hard since almost all the aggro cards are in GvG

"Blizzard! Making Murk Eye and Captain's Parrot illegal in Standard format was the shot in the arm this game needed!"
Said Face Hunters who won't even be remotely nerfed.

1. They aren't banned.
2. If it means no Anyfin Paladin in Standard then good riddance.
3. My Control Hunter deck running Webspinner, Tomb Spider and Ball Of Spiders says that that Parrot can rot in hell.

They should just remake Old Murk-Eye instead of removing him from standard.
I don't get this 'Blizz can't ban Murk alone' posts
Blizz can do whatever they want!
