I know nothing about the guy who did the de-friending other than he seemed to do it triggered by Ellyndel's rather innocuous message. Given that Hearthstone is no more than a game to be enjoyed for our general amusement, you must agree that such behaviour is, by any measure, difficult to justify?
The point is, why do you try to find a silly reason like the one you mentioned for this guy to act as a jerk?. He probably did't need one, he probably was born that way.
But of course, OP is totally overreacting. A player removing other from his friend list in a video game is not the end of the world. We shouldn't really condemn this player as if he were a criminal or something like that for doing so. I repeat, this is just a video game...
More tournaments on EU.. can do them early morning before work. Yea true, happy I got the quest if nothing else :). Thanks everyone for offering up your IDs and always fun watching the trolls come out from under the bridge.
What are you talking about? I checked all the post before this one and I don't see any trolls dude, only people expressing their opinions... Your tendency to overreacting is really annoying.
I love hearthstone and the community in general, but today I had a really bad experience that made me go so far as to make a hearthpwn account just to post this thread.
So what happened? I Logged in to my EU account for the daily quests and lo and behold "Sweet! I got the spectator quest that gives the pack." It was my only quest and I only had one person in my friends list online (as I play awkward times living in Australia). It was an EU player called EzG I think I played in an open tournament some time ago. So I go to start spectating and I immediately type within 1 second "hey i got the quest." What am I met with? The lowest of the low behavior imo in Hearthstone - an immediate unfriending to deny someone a pack. I mean seriously, what kind of human being does that? Now I have to wait 12 hours or so til the bulk of EU players come back online to get that pack.
The guy was playing some ranked 7 match and I hardly think that the dim possibility of me somehow being a friend of his opponent at the time would warrant such a low move. He could of at least asked "Hey dude, where do I know you from?" or something before he unfriended.
So that's my rant. So let me put it out there. What do you think is the easiest way to make someone salty in Hearthstone?
Why didn't you just make a second account on hearthstone, which is not against the rules and play a game vs the AI while spectating?
That will get you the quest reward pack in like 2 minutes.
Instead of the time that you spend to make the account here and rant on public you could have just done that.

He probably just didn't want to be disturbed while playing. On EU it may even be that he doesn't speak English.
I know you have plenty of offers, but add me if you like. I am frequently playing at evenings Australian time (early morning EU time) due to my weird shifts at work.
