With Blizzard intending to nerf a number of cards in the upcoming update, just wanted to hear what cards people think are most deserving of a nerf (not necessarily what you think Blizzard will nerf).
So, what are your top 5 nerf-deserving cards? (I'd also be interested to know what Classic Legendary you think most needs a nerf.)
Big Game Hunter:Same as above, even though I don't know how I'd nerf it...
Doomguard:Can we please make it so that this thing doesn't have charge if played from an empty hand?!....
Knife Juggler:Surely it will lose some of its power since Imp-losion and Haunted Creeper will be gone still a card with such an effect shouldn't be a 3/2....
Alexstrasza - Enables too many combos and limits design space as such. No opinion on how to nerf, I just recognise that she probably needs one. Knife Juggler - Just too good an aggro card for its stats, it's never been outright broken but the more low cost cards there are the better it becomes. Master of Disguise - Limits design space too heavily, you can't create a neutral or Rogue card with a powerful effect that could be hidden behind MoD, and that's disappointing. Effect needs a complete change. Savage Roar - I personally think this is the part of the Druid combo that is the most prohibitive in terms of design space, so its probably the part that really needs the nerf.
Big Game Hunter - Arguably limits deckbuilding because 7+ attack minions are always at risk, but I don't necessarily think that this is always the case, especially if you have many of them in your deck. I'll add it anyway, as an 'I can kind of see it happening, but I'm not sure if I actually want it to' card.
Ancient of Lore isn't even unbalanced. The body is worth 4.5 and the effect is worth 3. A half mana discount for being a class card and you have a perfectly balanced card.

+0 Mana to choose between abilitys
+0 Mana for combinet effekt Just because you attach 3 mana and acane intellekt on a card doesnt mean the card will be balanced afterwards.
Also Kripp has Lore pretty high on his List, the card is next to keeper also candidate for Druid nerf if you want to nerf anything at all.
pd: you guys seriously want to ner alex ? Pls , only control decks use it , so they have to make to turn 9 before the aggro fucks them up , and now with reno and healbot alex isnt broken

Reno Jackson and Antique Healbot will cycle out of Standard (Antique Healbot in this upcoming expansion). Alexstrasza will not. So either they're forced to constantly keep printing cards to prevent almost unstoppable combos from occurring - ones in the game now and in future expansions - or we balance her better so that her effect isn't as devastating in a Control deck. It's less about how good the card is now and more about how much it limits the design of other cards.
I don't have a formal list, but I'm really hoping Blizzard doesn't just nerf good cards. AoL is a great card, but not broken. I've seen people talking about a Prep nerf, which is stupid. It's a great card, it's not broken. Flamestrike is a great card, but not game-breaking. There are many more examples, but some of the stuff I see on these forums worry me that Blizzard will absolutely nuke some classes to oblivion.
These are the 2 that I'm expecting (and pretty much counting on):
1. Savage Roar (It sucks, I don't think it's an issue because it's fine by itself, but FoN is a weak card on its own and one of them needs a change)
2. BGH (In so many decks, just ridiculous honestly that a 3 mana card can destroy a 7+ mana card and put 6 points worth of stats on board)
I really hope Blizz doesn't drop the ball on this one, it'll be nice having a Shredder-less, Boom-less, Imp-plosion-less, Crackle-less meta but those aren't the only changes we need.
people really seem to be getting sucked into an echo chamber on the nerf train. honestly, I fear Blizzard is just going to rotations to avoid nerfing cards that really need to be nerfed (Dr. Boom, Piloted Shredder, etc). meanwhile, they will nerf cards that don't need to be nerfed (such as Warsong Commander) because they overreact and don't properly identify the real culprits.
I really don't think there is much in the classic or basic sets that should be touched. Divine Favor is really the only card from those sets I would strongly consider nerfing, myself. I would have considered Battle Rage as well, but their incompetent, heavy-handed murder of Warsong Commander, along with several activators for Battle Rage being rotated out make that unnecessary. I could also get behind Knife Juggler getting pared down to a 2/2. Beyond that, nothing in basic or classic stands out to me as needing a nerf.
Is FoN/SR really that broken? I don't think so. Its only modestly more impactful than other 2 card combos. If you take that away, Druid then becomes the only class that doesn't have any real burst potential out of hand. The only thing that really "breaks" Druid combo - unsurprisingly, the exact same thing that "broke" Patron Warrior - is Emperor Thaurissaun making it a 7 mana combo instead of 9. But they won't touch him, just as they won't touch the actually broken GvG cards that they're rotating out.
(ETA, a day later: and don't get me wrong: I like Emperor Thaurissan (and clearly Blizzard does too) and don't necessarily *want* him to be nerfed, but I couldn't/wouldn't complain too much if he got some *minor* adjustment (not Blizzard's forte...). I like combos, and I like that he enables them, even if it occasionally leads to some degenerate things. But Blizzard can't act all shocked when the combo enabler they printed AFTER nerfing miracle rogue *GASP* enables combos *GASP* and then go around pretending they never expected this to happen and nerfing the combo pieces as if they are the problem - if a problem even exists - rather than Thaurissan or ridiculous card draw mechanics. again, this isn't a call to nerf combos, even OTK ones (I'd much rather lose to a multi-card combo on turn 10+ a hundred times than even once to a brain-dead aggro deck where I lost on the mulligan because I didn't draw any answer to a deck that literally can't draw badly), its to scorn Blizzard for their amazing ability to misidentify both what is an actual problem in the game and also what the actual causes of those real or imagined problems are.)
I'd much rather them re-evaluate the truly broken cards that are going into the Wild than the staple cards that aren't really broken or may have only appeared so because of the presence of the broken cards that will now be going away. these things don't exist in a vacuum, and I really hope Blizzard is very careful in what and how they nerf, and take into account that enablers for cards they may be considering changing are going away, as well as how new cards will change the way we play existing cards. I fear that as usual they won't. BLIZZARD DESO- NO. BLIZZARD DESTR- UH, WAIT. NO, BLIZZARD KILL!!!
1. Force of Nature (over Savage Roar): I strongly believe the charging trents are the broken part of the combo. Charge is always a bitch to balance (hence the gutting of Warsong). I would remove charge and make trents stay on the board instead of dying.
2. Knife Juggler: With such a good text he shouldn't have a 3/2 body. I think the only nerf he should get is make him 2/2
3.BGH: I agree with Kibler this card was designed to fuck Giants. Hence I would change the text to destroy a giant.
4. Divine Favor: Fuck this card.
5. Alex: I love this card, but I can see the problem. I would probably change the amount to 20 instead of 15.
pd: you guys seriously want to ner alex ? Pls , only control decks use it , so they have to make to turn 9 before the aggro fucks them up , and now with reno and healbot alex isnt broken
I could say the same thing for you, you seriously want to nerf " Murloc war leader"? It's only used exclusively in just one deck (Murloc pally) and I don't think that deck is even close to top tier.... why?

Hmm... in terms of helping the game's longevity?
Alexstrasza, Knife Juggler, Master of Disguise, Savage Roar.... can't think of a good fifth one off the top of my head. Probably Big Game Hunter, I don't think there's anything else massive that I'm missing.

You can find me here! Good luck everyone!
Too much draw too easily for some cards or too much power for barely any to no downfall for the other cards on the list.
Ancient of Lore isn't even unbalanced. The body is worth 4.5 and the effect is worth 3. A half mana discount for being a class card and you have a perfectly balanced card.

Warleader doesnt need change. Since Murkeye will most likely not be in Standard set like Mekatorkue and Tauren Chieftain, Captains parrot.

1. Big Game Hunter
2. Savage Roar
3. Alexstrasza
4. Divine Favor

I would easily bet on all those five to be nerfed.
I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.
