The poll is meaningless. Wild will be dead soon. Don't think of it is as now...think of the future expansions including the spring one releasing cards that don't consider GVG and Naxx (and later other past expansions) at all when being created.
People who say just play wild you lose nothing....are frankly retarded.
I simply think this is a very bad move. either way, they will eventually loose players. Those whom have heavly invisted their time and money into this won't easly let all hard earned cards go. They will eventually leave the game. New players with all the underwhelming disenchanting will not be able to craft almost anything new, unless they buy something, and will eventually get tired of this never ending buying cicle. Can't think how splitting would be ever a good move, or even worse, putting players under the gun to buy packs or get lost.
I am going to play the Standard seriously but I will play on the wild too and stay low levels in case I want to take some easy quest wins when I will be short on time!
I'll be playing standard and I'm happy with the changes, even as a f2p player. Come on, you CAN afford getting adventures, it's just more playing, that's all. If you get yourself into making gold, you're able to get that 700 each week a new wing will be posted. As for expansions - if you dusted the expansions that are outdated, you'll get enough dust to get all the cards of your interest. That's my two cents here, though. Right now I'd suggest getting a bunch of classic packs. You never know which cards will get their full value and if you manage to collect a few of those, that's gonna be a really good start towards the upcoming extensions to the game :).
you will likely not be able to craft the cards from NEWER adventure series. only the ones that have been phased out from sales. otherwise there would be no reason to purchase new adventures, people would only craft the cards that were good. they wouldn't even spend any gold on the wings, let alone cash on them. new players able to craft nax cards is good though, except it won't do them as much good as just putting their dust into standard would do for them and going face hunter. lol.
I'm looking forward to standard, since mages will no longer be a pita and a time waster in standard. I can piss them off instead, probably as face hunter while I let other people find playable (meaning wins enough hopefully without being dull) decks for my favorite classes.
also, I think paladins will lose avenge... meaning secret paladins will be wasting slots in their decks at that point. or replacing it with another shitty secret, which will make playing around secret palading a synch at that point for any class. I have seen people complaining, but without avenge secret paladin is just wasting slots they can put more useful cards in. although without quartermaster & musters, I can't really think of much i could do with a paladin besides murloc and justicar aggro. they would become pretty weak in standard without good cards in the next set. and secret paladin even weaker because of the waste of card slots.

You're crazy. It's gonna be the opposite. Veteran players will NEVER leave, for the very basic reason you day: they (we) have invested so much time and money to simply leave and lose it all.
It doesnt matter - the exact same thing will happen to Standard that happened to the current ladder: It will be infested with disgustingly overpowered decks that will just cruise along winnning games on auto-pilot. And, they arent getting rid of reno doosh-jackson which is another huge problem.
It wont matter...why would it? Whats going to stop Standard from just being OP decks ruining the meta?
Well if you're calling Reno Jackson out like that I can only assume ur playing face decks....the cancer in Hearthstone....if that's the case you have nothing to worry about, you'll still win by skill command and concede whenever someone counters your face rush tactic.
If I'm wrong I apologize for labeling you like that, it's just that for some reason I believe face rush players to have a lower cerebral capacity and efficiency so they might say things that doesn't always cohere with the situation at hand.
What is Hearthstone to you? A fun and semi-competitive game with wacky effects and crazy RNG outcomes or just a card game you wanna grind as many wins you can get as fast as possible in?

I understand your take on it. I play midrange Hunter, Ramp druid and midrange paladin. NO face decks. Reno really hurts these decks - specifically the midrange variety. Thats because you cant usually deliver 65-70 damage which is what you need to beat reno decks. You simply run out of cards and options. Its infuriating. And, the "penalty" for using Reno is hardly that bad. Just isnt right..... just aint right.....
I just dont see why the new format will be any different. The dust wil setle and then the OP decks wil take over.

but they will be new OP decks. which will make it fun for a little while.

Decks like midrange paladin crush Renolock, Midrange paladin doesn't care how much health your opponent has. Once they establish board control they'll kill you eventually. Its the same reason why Paladin is such and awful match up for control Warrior. Reno Lock only has 3-4 AoE cards and only 2 of them (Shadowflame and Twisting Nether) are total board clears. After those you should just be able to rebuild your board and kill them with attrition. If Renolock really is the impossible match up you're claiming it to be you're doing something wrong.
Reno isn't a bad card nor is he broken. Reno is probably one of the most well designed cards in the game.

If people REALLY only care about standard they should have no problem just recycling their dust. Also you seem to be forgetting the fact that Standard updates once a YEAR which is plenty of time to accumulate dust WITHOUT money.

Midrange decks = counter to Reno decks :P
However I'm not sure I agree with Reno being such a well designed card for Wild mode considering how many options u'll eventually have it shouldn't be a problem making a Highlander deck for Reno in the future, but for Standard he will probably be kept in balance and eventually he'll phase out so you don't need to worry about that in the future ;)
Also if you can't beat reno decks with Ramp druid then I don't understand what you are doing, because as Ramp Druid you generally deal like 20 damage the turn you win the game...if you play it right ofc and don't try to rush ur opponent down hehe
I think it's more likely ur playing Combo Druid which focuses on setting ur opponent to 14 health before comboing....that's a cheap tactic that's a bout to be nerfed so...well Reno shouldn't be what's bothering u then^^

the old cards will still be useful in tavern brawls. sometimes for fast, easy gold. other times just for great laughs and fun. I don't plan to disenchant anything, especially since I won't be able to get it any more without spending 4x the dust to get it back if a brawl ever pops up where it would totally rock.

Standard. Sick of Dr. Boom already.
Standard all the way.
Salty Priest players after the Karazhan Reveal Livestream on ALL the forums:
With time Wild players will be less. If you can't understand that then you can quit now. Standard is the real deal Wild for whales and horders.

Which format will I play?
Arena, always arena.

I win due to skill and lose due to bad RNG. :D

Standard will be full of freeze mages and hunter/shamantards. GG control. Will be sticking to Wild then.
Standard. Looking forward to a new meta and decks. I feel I've been playing the same decks against the same decks for the past two years.
EDIT: Standard for ladder. Wild for fun.
