I'm using a Reno Control mage now just for fun, but it works quite well. Gonna switch at 10 to control priest, and maybe tempo mage before that if the meta allows it. Never reached legend tho, hopefully that will change this month! The grind is on!
Well, Paladin is 487 wins so... gonna start with Secret Paladin to get the gold and probably switch to Dragon Priest at around 10.
I like control Priest and Fatigue Priest (Titan_HS's GODLIKE Elise priest is awesome)... but... I found having a mid-range board of dragons plus Elise gives you a better chance agianst RenoLock and Freeze Mage. So, enough dragons for a strong mid-game and the backbone fatigue type stuff entomb/Elise/Lightbombs... Also, I read Competetive Hearthstone reddit, and quite a few Dragon Priests made legendary last season.
Last month S22 my top Rank was 4 with 5 stars. in S21 I reached Rank 1 with 5 Stars TWICE on EU server !!! It was my highest ever, and yet did not hit legend :'( Believe me you don't want to know how does it feel.
I nearly have every single card in the game and have no issues crafting any deck. I have 5 golden heroes (Mage, Paladin, Warlock, Warrior and Hunter) and my wish is to hit legend for once.
I have played against famous players like Kolento and Forsen and have managed to win both while playing from my LG G3 mobile phone. (see proof images)
Fell just short, made level 1 with two stars until I faded back to 2. Spent two days flipping back and forth from 1-2. On the whole a good resort, my best finish previously was 4 and 5 the last two months.
Last season I pushed to 5 with combo druid before losing 6 straight to secret pally. This caused me to start building stupid secret counter deck (the worst was a double Keezen double flare midrange hunter....lost to everything but secret pally). I tilted all the way back to rank 9 before I settled into my own aggro/midrange shaman that I used on my climb. If I hit legend this season I will post the deck, hovering around level 14 on day 1.
The season just started so i'm trying a control Shaman deck that i build to see how many ranks can give me. When the deck seems to start failing, i will play midrange druid, secret pally, patron warrior or zoo. I have never been legend so i will try it this month xd
I've hit rank 4 in S22 with DemonReno. Didn't reach it because either don't have time or too tired. Oh well, at least I've got pretty good with this deck, will probably stick to it and maybe mix it up with ramp combo (don't like how inconsistent it is) and control priest.
I have question for people who are working and find time to grind a legend each month: how do you keep yourself going at it? I was on a verge of just giving up and enjoying weekend instead of pushing to rank 5 when I hit like three 6+3 combos in a row.
Never made legend before. Any tips for attempting it?
Just concentrate on your plays and make the best possible play for the best possible outcome. Have fun with your deck and become one with it. You will get it!
But anyway for me I'm just playing around like any other season at the beginning, I'll be using dragon reno mage, control priest, combo druid and demonlock mostly for the climbs. Good luck to everyone else!
