So, even on paper, Unearthed Raptor is a really good card. Spider tank which can copy deathrattles - I'll take two please. What I'm really wondering, though, is the implications when you play it with Brann Bronzebeard on the board. Potentially, this duo could be ludicrously powerful. Brann makes the battlecry trigger twice. Raptor has a battlecry to copy deathrattle. If it battlecries twice, it gains two copies of the same deathrattle - a double deathrattle.
If you Raptor/Brann a Nerubian Egg, would you get two nerubs from the deathrattle? If you copied a Piloted Sky Golem, would your three-drop raptor give you two four-drops? Worst of all would be if you would Brann/Raptor a Sylvanas Windrunner - if the Sylv and Raptor would die, you could steal THREE enemy minions.
Brann says Battlecry, not Deathrattle. I think you have it confused with Baron Rivendare.
No, Raptor's battlecry is to copy the death rattle. We do not yet know how this will interact with Brann, whether it gives 2 copies of the deathrattle to raptor, or just becomes the deathrattle twice.
but think for a minute: the battlecry triggers twice. Raptor has a battlecry to copy deathrattle. If it battlecries twice, it gains two copies of the same deathrattle - a double deathrattle. That's the theory at least.
I'm pretty sure it triggering its battlecry twice does let you copy the deathrattle twice, yes. It would suck if it didn't, since it's possible to put 2 of the "give this minion: deathrattle: summon itself again" or whatever that Shaman card is, on a single minion and it will respawn 2 of them. If only it could be used on enemy minions, or Rhonin would become the greatest target of all time in a miracle-esque deck, followed up by Dreadsteed and Tirion (even if Tirion is just as good a target without a double effect). I guess that's what Burgle is for, right?
This card could make Rogue a better class, if people work out where it fits. The implications are endless and I intend to use this card because it's awesome.
Also, Rogue's not going anywhere from being in the top few Arena classes.
Edit: the shaman card is ancestral spirit, just didn't want to confuse it with Reincarnate.
As far as constructed goes, it's pretty good, but one good card won't make the 2nd worst class in the game into the new paladin. Bring an owl if you're that worried: that's what tech cards are for.

Can you even read man? Unearthed Raptor copying ability is a BATTLECRY that copies a Deathrattle, and not the other way around, so it works with Brann.
you all seem pretty sure that there is something like a double deathrattle actually existing - im not quite sure whether this would work at all - and even if so - its pretty much a 3card combo
and for the lolz: you forgot to mention the best target for him: Darnassus Aspirant ;-)

It already does. For example: if you use Soul of the Forest with a Haunted Creeper on board, when dying, it will spawn two spectral spiders and a treant. So yes, there is already this "strange thing" (double deathrattle effects) on the game...
It looks broken, but it's not that broken. The best deathrattle to copy (outside of a Feugen/Stalagg gimmick) would be Sylvannas Windrunner or Sneed's Old Shredder, and as those are high mana cards it's difficult to combo with the 3-mana Unearthed Raptor and the 3-mana? Brann Bronzebeard. These situations will be rare, and although powerful, not more powerful than existing high-mana combos. For example, Shrinkmeister makes Cabal Shadow Priest broken as you can double Shrink Cabal a Tirion Fordring.
Furthermore this is not the first time that insane deathrattle abuse has been introduced, as it was hyped that both Reincarnate and Feign Death would turn the meta upside down by using them on the two aformentioned cards (Sylvannas and Sneed's). It amounted to nothing.
This isn't saying Unearthed Raptor is a bad card. It will definitely be a top pick for arena and an above average card for constructed that I can't wait to play with. But I think it's going to get the Nerubian Egg and Haunted Creeper deathrattle far more than it will Piloted Sky Golem.
Thing with this card though is that it's a minion and not a spell. It offers an effect while directly providing board presence. Even if there is no deathrattle, 3/4 is a decent 3 drop. Deathrattle minions has a tendency to get ignored as well, but now this card creates an interesting dynamic on what people will do. I'd assume most people would still ignore the initial deathrattle minion, only for rogue to spiral out of control when they do throw this card on curve. Turn 2 nerubian/haunted creeper, turn 3 raptor into turn 4 argus would be insane. I can see a potential rogue deck that behaves a lot like zoo. Rogue also tend to have better card draws than shaman or hunter. So yeah... it definitely seems like this card can make a deck just slightly good enough to be viable.

You're right, it'll be a really good card. But I still don't think it'll be overpowered, but it'll definitely go in a Deathrattle Rogue deck. I think 80% of the time though, it won't be more powerful than Dark Cultist or Eydis Darkbane (in a deck revolving around buffs)
