So I've been getting a bit sick of regular aggro Mech Mage and decided to make a bit more of a midrange deck. It's working well so far and pretty fun to play.
Haha so creative with the Junkbot. Actually, I would really take that out though...
Personally I would probably go with: -1 Azure Drake +1 Arcane Intellect (more versatile) -1 Sneed's Old Shredder +1 Archmage Antonidas (great value and has "taunt" because your opponent can usually not let it live unless he thinks he will have lethal very soon) -1 Junkbot +1 Loatheb (when the opponent plays a deck you know, this gives you so many options - sealing the deal or preventing flamestrike vs Freeze Mage, anti-Whirlwind or Inner Rage, anti-Kill Command+hero power, anti- Force of Nature/Savage Roar) -1 Tinkertown Technician +1 Cogmaster (let's not lose the important early fight for board control!) -1 Blizzard +1 Annoy-O-Tron (same as above!) -1 Pyroblast +1 Antique Healbot (now that we have the board and 2 Arcane Intellects, let's give ourselves an option to heal!)
The idea seems awesome regardless! I agree that the standard decks get a bit boring!
I don't have Antonidas yet, otherwise he'd be in already. :p I did get Antonidas from Sneed the other day though, so that was cool. :D
I like Junkbot. People underestimate him. He's much unloved. :p Drop him on a turn where you can trade two of your own mechs and he's suddenly center of attention.
I'm running Loatheb in nearly every deck I have at the moment so I decided to give him a bit of a rest. He's working triple time already and deserves a vacation!
I might drop the Blizzard as you said. Tends not to be all that useful even if it does get played.
Early board control is actually pretty good with this deck provided you mulligan for Mechwarper. Can get Spider Tank out a turn early and then Tinkertown on turn 3. Without Mechwarper though it's a bit tougher.

Last deck I got to legend with: Oil/Miracle-Tempo/Control Rogue!
