So, we all know decks must change over time, some become useless...
I'd like to know how long do you think a deck is useful.
I find that, some decks work really well for some time, but then it seems that counter decks come to adapt and make then work less efficiently. And this last months, between updates and the amount of new cards, many of older decks don't work any more.
It depends on the deck. Some decks are designed to target specific metagames, so they die out when the metagame changes. Other decks are just all-round value, so they hardly ever change. For example, Ramp Druid has barely changed since Beta.
Handlock has barely changed since Beta. It has seen some addition with the release of Adventures/Expansion... but the core of the deck is the same. It's strong, no matter the meta. It won't disappear for a long time, I can assure you. So this deck has a life duration of : The entire life of Hearthstone up to this date.
Many decks are the same. It's mostly small changes that make them more consitent/viable.

Examples? opinions?
